Yep❤ got a bird feeding station, and two bird boxes, we have a couple of blue tits nesting. It was my valentine's present 🐣🐦 Seen coal tits great tits and siskin so far so lovely
During this lock down, NOTHING gives me greater pleasure of going down the allotment filling up the feeders then sitting and watching my visitors, there are dozens of species . The best relaxation therapy I know. Love this video, in love with the voice as well.

I saw some small birds taking shelter from the rain on my window, it was sad to see them shelter on a short length porch so i decided to build them a proper bird house and feeder. This video has taught me a lot thank you so much! Now i'm filled with determination to help save the bird population even if its just for a few birds!

Thank you fir being a kind person, all creatures need us to protect them and be their voice, I've now become vegetarian after seeing how cruel factory farming and slaughterhouses are, animals are related with us, we need to speak up for them as well are the powerful ones, they are not....but they are soooo much nearer to God than we are.

Great information thanks for that love garden birds
Excellent! Very well presented and very informative!!
THANK YOU For all this great information. It was very helpull!
I started with feeling sorry for local wintering birds, so I made a feeder from a milk jug. Now with multiple feeders, suet cages, bird bath etc, I have attracted 30 species to the yard. I see chickadees, nut hatches (red and white breasted), hairy and downey wood peckers, flickers, almost every day, certainly several times every week of the year. Spring and fall brings warblers, and finches through, as well as multiple species of sparrow. Coolest so far was a Lazuli Bunting. Such a colorful blue, manage some great photos. Bird watching is a great hobby, and I think it is the ultimate retirement past time. Feeding, photographing, cataloging, drives in the country to observe etc etc. Together with gardening can easily be a fulltime occupation. Cheers
Loved your presentation. Thanks for sharing.

Hi, thanks for making this video! It's by far the most informative I've seen. Very helpful :-)I've only recently become interested in birds, but they're so great to have in the garden! We get some beautiful songbirds, and sometimes a woodpecker or two. I'm glad that I've started birding, and that I've done my research on it too. I'm still a kid, so I guess it's good to start something while you're young. Anyways, thank you for your help, I hope you and your local birds are doing well!

Excellent video. Even just watching the birds nibbling at the feeding station is entertaining. This will be my reference video for bird feeding.
What a great video...may be the loveliest one I've ever seen. Thank you for such an effort.
This was so useful and very well photographed! I started putting out food, and now have huge flocks of mated Mourning Doves, one Rock Pigeon, some Eurasian Collared Doves, flocks of House Sparrows, noisy flocks of Brown Headed Cowbirds with beautiful songs, Red House Finches, Lesser Goldfinches, and a mated pair of Dark Eyed Juncos! An occasional black or grey squirrel too. I put out food for squirrels on the other side - front yard. They should not starve either! One mated pair of M Doves decided to sit on my large flat tray feeder (that I built myself) and actually laid an egg on it!!! Now I have to build them a permanent nest. They are so very sweet and affectionate, like pets. This is incredibly valuable knowledge. I am so glad I saw this video. I will be looking into your products soon! Many thanks from California!!
Thank you for all information... you have a nice voice to teach anybody like an adorable teacher

Awww that was lovely, I love feeding the birds, although been feeding the birds for a good few years now, I feel I’ve learnt some new things to. Thank you so much for this video.
During our winter, when birds are rare to feeders in our yard, so our two cats cannot window watch nearly as much as other seasons, I sometimes put on bird and squirrel videos such as this AND THEY LOVE IT. I get a bonus of watching the videos AND my cats watching the videos. A perfect winter morning with my coffee, loads better than morning TV, which we got rid of with cable. Now we only stream channels such as this, saving money and sanity. 🌸✌🏽😻
A very good video for the bird lover with good, clear, informative content. Keep up the good work as this is helping a lot on bird feeding techniques.

Yes I wholeheartedly agree with you, however, I think all creatures are cute, yes insects etc too. Have you seen how clever octopus are? And ants? Pigs? The list is endless, we really need to get to know and understand our animal relatives, they are all cute and beat no malice.

@@barbarastepien-foad4519 It's true all creatures are cute. Beside, jugement is a virtual and interested action that reflects the judge. Who are we to judge animals. But i admit you are on a higher spiritual level than me if you can find all insects cute. My list is short : ladybug is cute, a honey bee is very cute, a butterfly is cute. But no matter, i respect every living being and i find cute even a cow or a horse and yes a pig. But there are animals we love to hate : big white sharks, salt water man eating crocs, mosquitoes. And just to make my point, there exist one tropical bug that make eggs under mammal skins then the eggs larvae move to the heart and eat it causing death. That's not cute either.
Once a tiny little woodpecker was eating from my bird feeder it was so cute :3
What beautiful birds! So pleasant to watch!
I love that video..it was sooo comprihansive and informative. I love to do that in.my garden.
All the birds I have are seagulls, crows and pigeons. You're incredibly lucky!
Excellent video and I loved the close-ups of the birds. It was particularly useful to know about mealy worms as I must admit to not having tried feeding them to our birds. Rats are the main problem with the bird feeders for us - we are torn between not wanting to encourage the rats while supporting the birds.
@rjjcms1
5 жыл бұрын
We once had a problem with rodents climbing up a wooden pergola on which the feeders were hanging off nails we banged into the upright beams, but the problem stopped when I re-sited them as hanging feeders from the beams at the top. In the mid-winter I was filling different feeders with either seed mixes, peanuts or fat balls, and once one was emptied I'd wash it out thoroughly to get it clean and pristine before refilling and rehanging it. We'd get a lot of great tits and blue tits but also a variety of other species. More recently we've had a problem with grey squirrels reaching feeders, and there are plenty of magpies and crows or rooks which like to inhabit the taller trees. I witnessed an amusing stand-off between an intrepid young tree-climbing cat and an indignant magpie a while back; the cat backed down eventually. The most common visitors to my garden seem to be blackbirds, whose song I love, pairs of waddling collared doves or wood pigeons and in winter a robin which loves to sit nearby whenI'm doing anything out there,in the home that I'll turn up a nice juicy worm. I've also been trying to encourage hedgehogs,of which there used to be loads but now there sadly seem to be hardly any :-( Too many cars, too many town foxes?

Thank you so much for the lovely informative video. Learnt so much today :) I want more birds to visit my Garden. The Local council has given permission to builders to erect dwellings so they have destroyed the natural habitats which had been here for ages. We used to even have deer and squirrels coming to the gardens. Now they all have disappeared. I am trying to encourage at least a few species to come to the gardens. So far, Red Kites, Starlings, Tits, Black birds,Robins, Finches, Sparrows, Collard doves, Wood Pigeons,Green and red Woodpeckers and even Malard ducks have taken an interest. Food classification and feeder styles were very useful.. Thank you so much.
I live deep in the countryside, love watching the different species visiting the bird table.
You can't go wrong with sunflower hearts. Best all-rounder.
