I went on 5 good rides this year. Yesterday was actually 70 degrees Fahrenheit. I just bought a 2009 Honda XR650L yesterday and rode it all day. It was a fun day yesterday. My wife and I can now ride together.

@@BeanieBoyMoto It is pretty fast and powerful. A blast to ride. I rode for over a hundred miles yesterday. I love it's sound. Not as fast as the Ryker but tons of fun.

A very “timely” tutorial lol. Sorry, I couldn’t resist the awful joke. I should hang my head in shame after that one. Seriously though, brilliant idea to do this how to. It took me days to sort my clock out when I first got Ripley. Man your machine is looking very nice indeed! Ryde Safe Mark. Namaste 🙏🏻

Your comment is right on time George. 😁 Daylight savings time was Yesterday. I figured a lot of people would be adjusting their clocks today.

Thanks for that I just got my Ryker last thursday..hadn't gotten around to reading how to change the clock.

budyser365 lol I made the same video last time change and reposted it of some FB pages on Sunday. It is very helpful. A lot of people don’t even know they have a clock. Changing the time on the Ryker can be confusing.

Love my Ryker, not at all happy with dealer. Allow me to vent, I have 2019 Ryker Rally now with just over 3000 mi. Bought it with an 6 year extended warranty. Now a few months down the road I go to schedule a service with the dealer and I am informed that they no longer service any Can Am on-road units will only deal with Can Am off-road units and that now the closest dealer that will service it is over 140 mi. away. In the mean time my Ryker blows the seals on the final drive oiling the rear wheel and brake. I call Can Am roadside assistance of course they will only take it to the nearest dealer who refuses to service it,. To top it off when we load it on the flat bed we realize that both top bolts on both front shocks have lost their nut and the bolt are backing out, on the right side is less than an 1/4" from backing all the way out and the bolts that hold the radiator in on are half gone. So now my Ryker sets at the dealer where I bought it not getting worked on and all I get from BRP is we are trying to figure out what can be done. I guess I should be grateful the final drive blew a seal otherwise I probably wouldn't have found the shock problem until It came apart while carving a canyon, definitely would have left a mark.

I love my Ryker also. Sorry to hear about your horrible dealer. It was smart to buy the extra warranty. I have a 2 year warranty and am going to buy another 3 years. Not sure about the reliability of this machine yet.

@@budyser365 So far I haven't had anything to indicate a reliability issue, most of the main components have been used in other units, there are as with any new machine a few bugs to work out but BRP seems to be doing pretty good at resolving them. As far as I can see from other bikes, they are not replacing the seals on the final drive but replacing the entire final drive with one that is being produced by a company in California. I think the problem with my shocks had to be in dealer set up, at least that's my guess I have never seen a nylon lock nut back off unless it wasn't tighten properly to start with unless they completely left the washer off and every bump in the road backed off the nut. I am hoping the Ryker works out I have already put some money in options, Two Bothers Exhaust, sway bar, KN filter, clove bow external insulation kit, LED headlights, upgraded horn, bug screens on air intakes, comfort seat, 2020 radiator guard, lower a-arm guards, changed Rally fender to an Ace rear fender. Vinyl graphics on rear fender to match color panels, Tufskins carbon fiber tank guard and lower panel guards. When I was a young man I road raced sport bikes and it has taken a while to figure out how to ride a Ryker fast, it requires completely different techniques from motorcycles or cars for that matter. I can't hang with the true knee dragers out there in the canyons not enough ponnies for one thing, but other than them everybody else is behind me. Need more power, I am currently looking at the possibility of adding a turbo charger off the Maverick X-3, but I will wait until the bike get sorted out under warranty because I know once I stick a turbo on this this my warranty will be a thing of the past.

@@jacksloan3516 I got one of the first units produced. I have had 7 minor issues fixed so far. I know the Ace motor is bullet proof. The transmission I am still iffy on. I would love to see your Ryker with a turbo. Sounds like lots of fun.

@@budyser365 I wondered if Can Am might have thoughts of a turbo, with the air intake on the exhaust side of the engine it makes it somewhat straight forward.

My clock will be right on time 6 months out of the year.

I honestly hate adjusting the time twice a year. They should just leave it as it is. More light in the evening is always better.
