Warning though... If you set your brake pedal to highest position it will be locked in that position and it will take some WD40 and a crowbar to pull it back out of that stuck position.

rejji7 I got a 600. Super fun bike. Twist and go. No balancing or clutch needed. Fully customizable. Tons of accessories. My own issue is that I have 2 motorcycles as well. So as much as I love the Ryker I have to sell it because I prefer motorcycles. But if you want the open air experience without the safety concerns I strongly recommend buying a Ryker. And get a 900. You’ll very quickly outgrow the 600. Very easy learning curve. Hope that helps

Did you know that if you hold that bottom button on the display down for about 5you can get to the different modes once it shows a mode like sport mode then you can click that bottom button to scroll through the modes you do not have to hold it down again. That funnel is mainly placed on the bike in case you run out of gas, and you need to fill up with a GAS CAN. Some gas cans have nozzles that wont work to "depress" the gas tank flapper. Plus, using a gas can, you don't want to have to tip the gas can as much as it would take in order to "depress" the gas tank flapper...you'd have gas spilling everywhere.

  • @RykerRydes

Foot peg location indicators are important. I just bought my Ryker, and didn't notice them. I moved the brake side peg to a random spot (not a designated) location causing my brake to become jammed. Anytime I lowered the peg, it would engage the brake. I couldn't move the brake at all, it was stuck. Luckily, my Ryker dealer did me a favor and fixed it at no cost. Apparently, its a common mistake made by new owners due to the discrete markings on the bike.

The gas funnel is for adding gas from a gas can. You should be very careful if you have to use it at the gas station. Also, the video shows that Ryker at a really low gas level. That's bad for the fuel pump. I don't let mine get below the half mark on the gauge, 100 miles, or showing 80 miles till empty. It's very consistent that all three of these markers happen together.

Those foot peg indicators are actually in the manual. So is the blinker timer, the clock, the USB, driving modes like sport, the gas filler funnel, autonomy, etc. Just so you know. I ride with a group of Ryker riders, and I’ve never known anyone that didn’t know these things. Lol. The only thing not blatantly spelled out in the manual is the neutral spot. Other than that, none of these are hidden features. For the gas filler, there is even a warning on the display to read the card. Which is in the compartment with the funnel.

It is fairly easy. No shifting or balancing to worry about. The only thing that takes some time is getting used to the power and quick throttle response. Another beginner common problem is riding the brake. It will put give you a vss fault reading and shut down. Just don't accelerate and brake at the same time (harder than it seems for a new rider).

I like to say it is better to have the extra power and not need it, then need the extra power and not have it. That being said, other than the 900 vs 600 power, the bikes are almost identical.
