Great video, as always. Straight forward and great for new ryders. I’m not usually a fan of speakers on a bike, for many reasons. As someone whose opinion I’ve come to respect on all things Ryker, I’m looking forward to your take.

Hi, just watching your channel. Good info for people that don’t know how to wash. One thing I’d be careful of is to not let your hose drag on your Ryker. That’s a great way to scratch your paint and wraps. Best

If you do not have Black Again products, I used Meguiars black plastic restorer. It did a really great job and my Ryker turned really black and not too shinny. Also, do your tires too with the proper product! Thanks for the tip!

I love Black again, yes do not put on seats, after you had mentioned it a few videos back. I use it in my car now as well. One thing have you gotten rid of rust that is in the wheel nut. As my soon said i could use a metal brush, I know it is just aesthetic 😉😁

It is very simple, but you'd be surprised how many questions I get about how to wash it.

A little thing to keep in mind, work from the top down. You don't want to clean the bottom, then rinse it off and do the top and all the dirty run off is going to be over everything you just cleaned. You also want to work from top to bottom because of all the dirt and other contamination on the bottom that could scratch your bike. That goes for washing and drying.

I have looked for a good wireless mic, but have come up empty. The search continues. lol

I have '13 Spyder with a mesh/air flow seat, I think. Best way to dry it quickly? I use dry wash for my bike, but would love to properly clean it.

Congratulations! Please check your manual/dealership. That being said....6K miles or one year, which ever comes first.

BRP power sports dealer trick = use Dawn dish soap, nice soft sponge and anything from garden hose to pressure washer to wash, drying use any shop blow gun with air compressor or a "master blaster" which is a vacum cleaner sized blow dryer w/heat. To get that new shine wipe down with WD-40 and a microfiber towel.. when finished ur bike will look like it did off the showroom floor. And everything i mentioned will NOT hurt anything on ur bike (common sense needed ofc)..🤘

Nice question! The ideal riding temperature for me is around 85 (if there’s no humidity). Being in Florida 75-80 is my favorite. I like to wear a jacket, helmet and gloves and not feel hot at all!! What about you?

YES! It is impossible. I just spray water up there and hope for the best! Never had a problem with dirt residue coming off from them.

do you use ant tire shine also what was that in the black can that you sain do not put on your seat, i won’y ask you why lol, but is it armour all, cause atoumor gives a little shine, Happy Safe Riding

Yes I do use tire shine. It is important not to use any shine stuff on your seat, it'll make it very slippery!

I live in an apartment is there a method that would work? Maybe just a bucket of fresh water with a fresh sponge and then one with the soapy water. Would that work

Absolutely. Also check Amazon for waterless cleaners. You just spray and wipe. Another option is to get it wrapped. Hides the dirt, and protects the bike from the sun.

Are those stock wheels i think mine came out of the shop with lawnmower wheels on it ,,,if not stock where did you get them...please...thanks Joe

Yes, they are stock wheels for the 600 and 900 ACE. If you have the Rally edition your wheels are shiny silver.

I wouldn't. The bike is almost all plastic. The black is meant to have a sheen not super shiny. I am so excited for you getting your bike in a few days!!!

Yes you can apply ceramic coating to matte and plastic. Look it up

Check out chemical guys at Walmart. They sell a complete kit in a bucket that has a dirt trap. Have to make sure you don't scratch panels with dirty water. Its good stuff. Can am makes a pretty water tight bike. A bike wash without a bikini just doesn't make sense..had to say it lol.. Keep it classy!

Honda and most brands make a spray cleaner that dissolves dried bugs and leaves a great shine. Works great on plastic and windshields. Carry it trips to keep bike shined.

I do realize that 97% of my viewers are male...hence the joke about the bikinis! You are very right about getting a bucket with a dirt trap. I actually have one, but was trying to keep the video as simple as possible. Most people just want to know if the bike can get wet!

Also never dawn because that will strip any type of protection. Best to use a soap dedicated to matte paint.

I had a friend of mine decades ago ask me why I use soap and water on my bike just to get dust and bugs off? I was perplexed. I mean, because it is what we're supposed to do, right? He convinced me that that all you need is a motorcycle polish. He argued that dousing your bike with water is a bad idea as ultimately, water is corrosive and if not careful, can get into electrical connectors and corrode them. Why take the chance he argued. So, I took his advice. He was right. I haven't used water on any of my bikes in decades and they always look new. Just spray on heavy bugged areas and let it sit a minute or two before wiping and the bugs slide right off. Especially if you polish after every ride. Plus, you are protecting the finish with a polish. Something a straight up wash will not do. I use Wizards and a few others, but there are many brands that'll work. You'll be surprised how much easier it is to clean the bike up by just using polish. For your rims, use WD-40. Takes tar, brake dust, and road grime right off and looks the shizzle too. Just don't get it on your brakes or tires. I spray it on a rag and wipe to avoid that. I've been doing this for decades and it truly works. Give it a shot. You'll be glad you did. And you'll be finished cleaning your bike much faster, with less hassle and mess.

I mentioned this in one of the local FaceBook riding groups I belong to and got many, many responses like, "I use water and never had a problem" or "water is fine" instead of taking good advice. Honestly, I almost blew off my friend too when he mentioned it to me, so I can't blame them. It's just hard for me not to share a better way to help people. It doesn't take much polish either, just a squirt here and there and wipe it down. I wish I could post a picture of my 15 year old Speed Triple so you could see for yourself. The bike looked brand new just before I sold it. Cost is negligible. One can of polish should last you a riding season, at least. Here's a link to what I use the most. wizardsproducts.com/collections/frontpage/products/mist-n-shine works great and hides swirls. It gives my paint a luster that rivals most waxes. I love the way it smells too. And no, I don't work for these guys.
