So powerful and truthful. This is something I desired in my relationships and rarely received it. I decided to stay single because it isn’t worth it until I find a woman who overstands this.

I’m divorced and my ex husband just didn’t show up for me like this. I became an “I’ll just do it myself” kind of woman. Even though I feel like I’m feminine and agreeable, the last man I dated always referred to me as “independent”. I guess I don’t know how to ask for help without feeling like I’m needy, desperate or begging.

@@LovettbalngoodsLLC Not necessarily true. Some guys aren't capable of being "men" and we have to do it ourselves and be independent. I'm independent but I'm also feminine and want a man to help me. I'm exhausted of doing everything myself. Just haven't found the right one yet.

My ex girlfriend was a nightmare 😱 in this regard. She was the least intelligent 🧠🤓 but most opinionated woman I've dated. My entire life of outcomes were better than hers but she always thought 💭 she knew better than me. I made more money, have had two businesses of my own, owned two homes to none for her without help, had no kids out of wedlock or abusive relationships. I didn't argue. I left. Nobody is worth my peace 🕊️ #smiles4ever15

Thanks this is my missing puzzle I never put myself out there as not needing a man but I see how I may come across. Good info. I grew with my Mom more so speaking to my Dad as a partner but not really asking there was no his and hers but ours. But I'm not certain how they interacted before I was born since they were about 15 years in before my sister and I were born.

This is true believe it or not. When I was with my ex. When he felt he couldn’t help me or fix something he would fall away. & when I say. “Here babe. I can use your help with this”. He does it. And fell like a KING 😂🎉. 🤦🏾‍♀️. And he smiles and stay. Omg. Like what?? Lol 😅. Then sometimes he didn’t KNOW WHAT HE WANTED!!! He was In and out type person even when we was living together. When I needed his help, he didn’t want to do it at the same time. He wasn’t there emotionally. He became unavailable with everything in our relationship. I became not so interested when this happened. We faded away!

People have turned the word independent into something bad. Yes we can use another word that makes a mans ego feel better. People can also stop looking at the word negatively. The problem is only if you are too independent.

What if he doesnt tell me when Im being problematic?! Like he will just hold it in and instead of being honest he will let it fester? He has said I dont listen to him when he offers a solution, I kinda blame being pregnant for the first time and being in a head/body place I had never been before and it was a difficult pregnacy, he accused me of very wrongful doing and it wasnt true, left me for a long time halfway through. Had a horrendous birth experience and baby was very very unwell so head space wasnt all there. I do a lot on this list naturally but it doesnt seem to work as he thinks i am unfaithful. Got a DNA test without my knowing....of course my baby is his baby, i fee like i did nothing to warrant it and he wont tell me what signs he saw in me to make him believe it? So weird!

thats rough, im sorry youre going through that. my husband of almost 11 yrs has trust issues w me, financial and others, and theyre still there, but for the past 10 months ive tried to show him that im someone he can trust. we share locations on our phones and i let him know where im going beforehand. its not for every couple,, but i think it helps. idk. i hope you guys work it out and regain the trust. best wishes to u !
