    I definitely needed this balance. I’m not one to snap or act disrespectful when I’m triggered but I tend to shrink into myself and hold it in until I emotionally explode when I’m by myself.

    All this is true bt only if you’re nt dealing with a narcissist coz you cn sit a narci down to talk he wil act like what you’re saying is nothing if you tell him wat he did wrong he wil flip it bk on you b4 you realize it you have completely lost it now you hv an endless urgument with no solution

    You actually break down our actions and verbiage to the smallest denominator while creating this massive visual of not only the problem we as woman create but the solutions we hold. I’ve listened to many of your videos for some time and haven’t heard 1 where you were wrong. When I first discovered you I must say, I wasn’t getting it, at all! But by currently being single in the sense of I’m not married, I KNOW what I was doing, displaying or believing was incorrect. I SEE the changes in responses from others, including male friends because I’ve tapped into my feminine. It’s the “small”things that have made big differences (like talking less, eye contact, smiling, not allowing the world’s problems “for black woman” be MY problems, etc.). You make it “make sense”. I may not be where I “should” at almost 30 but that’s okay. Influencers like yourself, who serve the truth even when it doesn’t feel good remind me eye know the man destined for me is coming and unlike popular belief, me being a mother to a young boy will not block the blessing of the right man making me his wife in due time🧘🏽‍♀️ Peace and blessings to you & yours sistar♥️

    I do the opposite.. when I’m triggered I distance myself and talk about it later. Im so conflict averse I try to avoid it altogether. Not good. I’m working on tackling disagreements in the moment instead of letting them marinate. Thank you for the knowledge 🤞🏽🌷

    thats the one im torn about. this doesnt work for everyone. if im triggered, who knows what place i went to in my mind, touching someone while triggered may not be the best thing to do in my opinion. personally when im angry, dont touch me.

    I love your approach to feminine energy, you stay so real .. the other channels that I have seen come across as acting and it just looks so fake. Communication is my weak point (and I'm supposed to be a libra ♎️ 😄 ) I am always in my masculine energy since becomming a mum and I just want to tell everyone to go away and leave me alone all of the time .. Thank you for the advice. I love the part about being held when in a disagreement. That would really help. ❤

    You look so pretty, I love the jewellery. Thank you so much for this. This has helped me see I've dealt with feminine men. This is exactly how I express how I feel. Most of the time I could just say how I feel maybe cry a little and I would be good, being laughed at or belittled while stating your feelings leads to repressed emotions and anger. Then I would be called masculine lol.

    You are so funny to watch and I love the switches between the feminine and masculine acting! I can tell that you were probably more masculine before so you know how it's done 😂 I am just starting to learn and tap into my feminine energy. And boy, it's not as easy! Although I look very feminine, but in most of my actions, they're more masculine, especially in relationships. I've realized that the reason is that I grew up being the only girl with 3 brothers, my father never really treated me or gave me affection like how other fathers would treat their daughters. And when we were younger, my brothers and I would fight just like I was one of the boys. And because of this, my masculinity has become a defense mechanism throughout my life and especially when dealing with men. I am now in my early 40s and I just want to get in touch with my natural feminine energy and to be treated (and also allow to be treated) like a feminine woman. Being so masculine my whole life has been so exhausting, I don't know how men can do it all the time! I guess that's why they say we are biologically different huh? It's funny how being feminine as a woman is so confusing to me hahaha

    ♥️Love all of this. Self awareness/accountability piece is oh so important and what's missing for many of us. It's like trying to not walk on landmines when unsuspected people who don't have a clue as to what your triggers are, are expected to not set you off by what they say and do. 🤷🏾‍♀️ But how? Knowing your triggers, how to cope when they arise and sharing them lightens everybody's burden. SN: the nickname/pet name such a wonderful tip! I'd have to fight back a smile (during a disagreement) 😊

  • @TheModernGoddessChannel

    Exactly! I love how you worded that...if you yourself don’t know what your triggers are, you definitely can’t expect anyone else to know what they are.👏🏾 And as far as smiling during disagreements...Sis, it gets me every time. I melt.🥰

    when im angry dont touch me and dont patronize me with those pet names. all you gotta do is call me something cute and rub on me and suddenly im not angry anymore? nah. are you listening to my plight or just shutting me up with fake affection?

  • @sentry8992

    @sentry8992

    2 жыл бұрын

    Why are so angry though? You sound like the incredible Hulk. A disagreement shouldn't make you so angry that love and affection can't cure it. Disrespect could be next level, but a disagreement is simply a misunderstanding or miscommunication. If you're constantly being disrespected by the guy, maybe you're with the wrong guy.

    So masculine behavior has natural traits of being disrespectful?

  • @sentry8992

    @sentry8992

    2 жыл бұрын

    No. Masculine behavior has the natural trait of being aggressive. Disrespect or being disrespectful is a conscious choice. Too many immature guys confuse the two. They think being aggressive gives them license to be disrespectful and belligerent. When it does not. Men should be able to be aggressive without being disrespectful.
