Hi I do enjoy watching you videos. I have a 2021 fat boy for which I lost my key fob. I bought a replacement fob but does not work using other video we’re you have to use the indicators in sequence to link fob to bike. That also does not seem to work. Would you know what I am doing wrong at all. I had bike from new and only has 3000 miles and was working fine until fob was lost.

The fob needs to be coded to the bike. On a previous bike I accidentally damaged by fob and both the fob and the receiver unit on the bike had to be replaced.

With keyfob present every time I turn the ignition on the bike always asks for the pincode ( which I have but blood annoying having to enter evertime) any help or advice would be much appreciated

Hi Steven. I've never come across that fault and therefore have no ready solution. However, it is clearly a problem with the security system. I would check all the obvious issues (which I'm sure you already have done): change the key fob battery; make sure the bike battery is fully charged and healthy; then check and clean wiring loom connections (the source of a few problems on my bike and a likely suspect in this case if the batteries are fine) - particularly the connections to the security antenna; I'd also "reset" the system by pulling the main fuse and disconnecting the battery. Sorry I can't offer better advice. I usually find that with problems like this you just need to keep running through all the potential issues until you hit in the culprit. When you do fix it, I'd be interested to know the source of the problem.
