Hello everyone, I recently stumbled upon a really cool video titled HOW I TRANSPORT MY DJ EQUIPMENT - Little ol' me. If you're interested in DJ tips or enjoy seeing creative solutions, definitely check out this video and give it a thumbs up! HOW I TRANSPORT MY DJ EQUIPMENT - Little ol' me.
I have no personal vehicle lol. During my high school years I took the bus and went to the place used whatever speakers and sound system was available !!! Horrible !!! hahaha My worst one was an OLD dvd player I had to split the wires to get some sort of connection. I'm getting back into it, I'm probably going to get a single 15 inch speaker with stereo support and put it on a smaller foldable trolly hahaha. I have the same controller for rekord box, the once you showed in the pics. ITS HUGGGEEE MAN !!! Took it out twice and gave up hahahah. I recently just opted out for a smaller controller The Reloop beatmix 4. So that's my combo to get back into the game. GOTTA HUSTLE THROUGH THE STRUGGLE MAN hey thanks for the advice cheers !!!

Which qscs are those? Great work. funny i have that same dolly💪🏿

LoL! That dang dolly has been there through it all.😅 These are the 8-inch qsc's - they're small but pack a lot of punch. They have been sufficient for most of my mobile gigs that weren't held in huge spaces.
Well dang... Wish I purchased stand with cranks...speakers too heavy.

Anyone knows whats the best budget bass 12'' speakers for small bar or party without use of subwoofer? What QSC model art those?
@DJGURL
Жыл бұрын
I’d say get a couple quality speakers such as 2/10’ or 2/12’ QSC speakers. They’re not budget though. You can turn on the extra bass feature on the speakers. 😉 In this video I’m using 2/8’ QSC speakers. They’ve worked well at All my events big and small. 💯
What do you do when u have to lug your equipment up/down stairs
@DJGURL
Жыл бұрын
This is why I highly suggest that everyone have a weekly strength training regimen at least 2x a week to keep their muscles strong and trained up because when it comes to stairs there is no way around it; you'll have to lift and carry equipment piece by piece up the steps if there is no elevator around. This is also why I state in my contract that there needs to be easy accessibility for me to load in and out my equipment or otherwise the client will need to provide me with assistance for load in and load out.
Thanks for your help ,but how do you go up steps.
@DJGURL
Жыл бұрын
I don't go up the steps with my cart; most likely there is a wheelchair ramp I can use or an elevator. If neither of those is available then the folks who booked me will arrange a way for me to have equipment carried upstairs and back down the stairs, but that's rarely the case.
How do you travel with large speakers on plane, cause I will be traveling to Minnesota in August for my niece wedding cookouts?
@DJGURL
3 жыл бұрын
Hey Tom! The answer is I don't travel with large speakers on a plane. I will usually just rent them from a place like Guitar Center, SIR, or some other local music gear rental shop when I get to my destination. I will usually research that and have the gear I'm renting on hold until I get there to pick it up.

@@DJGURL hey how do you travel with turntables by plane? I got two flight cases for them but idk if I can take them on the plane
@DJGURL

@@garrettdelaney1477 Hey. Garrett! I would see about renting turntables from a local Guitar Center, SIR, or music equipment rental shop local to your destination. If that isn't an option than your best bet is to see if you can fly with the flight cases. It will cost you extra but it should be possible to do. I don't know what flight rules are now days but I flew with my DJ system (wasn't turntables, but it was big and heavy) in 2019 and I paid like $100 or so extra but I did it.
Do you have subwoofers
@DJGURL
3 жыл бұрын
I don’t normally need, bring, or use subwoofers at my events unless the venue has me hook into their’s that they already have set up. However there have been events that I’ve done that I needed to get them, and in that instance I rent them from somewhere for a day or two. After I get them, I cart them into my event with my cart. If they’re too big then I’ll get help.
