Good video helped give me an idea what to expect. My generator is back in business

Well I learned a few things I now know how to change a carburetor, I know not to leave my tools in my unlocked truck and I need to find friends that respect my stuff lol. Good job Bobby guys like you are few and far between

Lol Someone stole my truck and tools. Sucks was when we where moving too. Was in the store came out to find no truck. I got the truck back but the tool box was removed from the truck. God Bless brother.

That is why I stopped loaning things out last thing I loaned was a wood chipper shredder and it came back broke

Amen. I let a friend use my truck. Give it to them with a full tank of gas and clean inside and out. When i got it back 2 weeks after I was told I would get it back. It was trashed.

Wow! That was extremely nice of champion to send the new carberator for free! Actually, I was hoping you were going to convert it to propane! I’ve been wanting to do that to mine for some time now....just to avoid the carb issues! :-). Good luck with the upcoming weather! Will be keeping a prayer handy for you and your family!

No I would not run it on LP. I would have just got one that was setup for LP from the start if that was the cares. Lp is less efficient. If I ran my genny on it I would get about max 3000 watts from it. I do not recall how much it is but it's a lot. LP for a standby geny is smart for a lot of things. But not for me.

I didnt know you could get parts for free, i spent 17 bucks on amazon but it came with all new gaskets, carb, fuel line, fuel valve, spark plug, fuel filter and some little spring. fixed my generator perfectly. runs like new

yep, i know what you mean, I try not to loan tools but I tent to end up loaning them and regretting it later :S what ever happen to returning it in better shape then you received it?

No clue but I just hate to say no lol..

Great video I have carberator issue an must repair it myself It appears gas is leaking from bottom of it? Can I possiyjust check old carb an clean it? It runs five minutes then dies.

That sounds like a cloged fill jet. Get a new carb or clean that one.
