Your dad is so sweet!!! I try not to eat ramen noodles because of the crazy amount of MSG, but when there's absolutely nothing left to eat, the only ramen I'll eat is also MAMA's! I also put an egg in there :) but I really like my noodles to be well done (a bit soggy almost lol) man it's 3AM, I will definitely eat MAMA's in the morning thanks to your video! lol

That looks really yummy! I should try it some time. My fave is kimchi flavor. I bring the water to a rapid boil and toss in the spice packet, followed by the noodles. When the noodles loosen up, I crack an egg. After a minute or two, I toss in a handful of spinach. Drizzle with sesame oil and eat!

I like the mama noodles too in both tom yum and pork. I usually put the seasoning into the water, bring to a boil, add noodles, crack an egg and put everything into a big bowl when the noodles are still a little crunchy/chewy. Therefore, the noodles gradually will get softer and not mushy while you eat. I am totally adding bean sprouts, basil, lettuce and lime next time! Mmm... Thanks for sharing! :)

That is totally my family's favorite type of ramen too -- that exact flavor of MAMA. We've been eating that for nearly a decade and always have a box at hands. MAMA is an instant noodle from Thailand and not really like Ramen (Korean's noodle). Tom Yum flavor is the signature of Thai food ^__^ So glad that you loved it. Tom Yum is my favoried too!!

I use marachuan ramen. I put an egg in. And i put lettuce in with a bit of oyster sauce, and the chicken flavor seasoning

I always eat MAMA ramen too! And my parents make it the same way as well. :) I like my egg cooked all the way through though and then I get to bite into it after I eat most of the ramen hehe. You're making me crave some!

i usually buy the Nissin and Doll instant noodles... mainly in beef and curry flavor. we cook it with leftovers sometimes and fresh veggies. sometimes, i poach an egg and cook it half way. =] i don't use the sesame oil they give... my mom says not to use it... maybe, it's the chemicals they add to it to preserve it. and we also rinse the noodles with separate hot water to clean it and re-add new hot water.

Your family looks like it's so loving towards one another! It's always nice to see warm families^^ One thing about instant noodles....I read from several sources that it's best to cook the noodles in a separate pot, and discard the water that it's cooked in (use different water as soup). It's because the noodles are usually coated with a harmful substance. That's what quite a lot of Chinese and Japanese do as well. I like how my noodles turn out in this way better too. Try it and see =)
