    Excellent instructive video .I have been pondering buying the Grand kingdom set for some time given all the varsley different views about the products. I will now buy one hopefully the company will improve its customer service as its products look quality they should have a service to match,there is no better referral than from another owner.

    Thank you so much, doubler. I would recommend buying the newer SWAP board. It's much faster, but in my opinion, not so appealing.

    Thanks, but I am not a great lover of their plastic offers.I had the Milton's Bradley's grandmaster phantom till its demise last year .It was made in 1983 which you only could play the software being able to play other players from any where in the world is great will stick to the kingdom set .by the way I have kept the chessmen from the milton unit reversed the magnets so they should play on the kingdom ,Evan made 40 years ago they blow the square off ones away .

    Hi Doubler, I am not very into chess, but I was fascinated by the old East German chess game. Have you seen this video too? Using the old figures with the Square Off board also came to mind, but I still need to flip magnets! 😉

    Hey! I am waiting for mine, so I can't tell for sure. If I should make a guess, I would assume that it is not screwed but held down by clips. You could try to pry it open gently. Keep me posted, I am curious! ✌️

Today I played few games that time the issue came. I tilted the board several times and I observed one thing the robotics mechanism inside the board was not easily moving at the time of tilting. Hello there , I have a problem with my board the exact same one that I have just recieved. There customer support had been awful when it comes to fixing it. I believe it is a problem with the Motor i’ve been looking everywhere to try and fix it . Maybe you may be able to figure it out :) , everytime I turn it on ut will go down and up then start grinding loudly and shaking when I open to look the whole thing shakes

  • @CanWeFixThat

    @CanWeFixThat

    Жыл бұрын

    Hi! Mine was also sometimes shaking with the faulty firmware board. You could measure if the end-stop switches for the motors are working correctly. The expected behavior is a homing process, where the arm drives to the left end switch and straight up to the other end switch. When this initialization is done, it should center the arm in the middle of the board. You can see this in action here: kzread.info/dash/bejne/q2GBl6axftS3hqw.html Can you see any issues inside the app?

  • @nospace4898

    @nospace4898

    Жыл бұрын

    I do not have any issues in the app , It won’t center back to the center of the board it goes down the xy axis then to the right corner then gets stuck and the black pully piece starts shaking and it get’s stuck in that corner

  • @CanWeFixThat

    @CanWeFixThat

    Жыл бұрын

    It could really be a bad connection that the board can't recognize the end-stop switch signals. Please also check the wiring to see if everything is fine; maybe a wire is broken from the inside.
