yesterday me and my boyfriend broke up, and today when i woke up it was so hard just to get out of bed. to even eat or shower. this video made me realise that i can still feel loved without having to rely on a person. i'm so proud of you for being able to get back up on your feet, because it has encouraged me to do the same. ❤

Hi there - I have recently got a Lexapro script which I will pick up in a week or so after some important career deadlines have passed so as to not have them potentially hampered by side effects I may experience. Excited to start them though and see if they help. I’ve struggled with depression for a long time and so with my recent script pickup I have been doing some KZread digging and found your videos to be very informative. To have seen a bit of your transformation has been inspiring so I wanted to send you some gratitude for sharing your experience. Also recently single so it’s nice to see how your singledom has been such a growth catalyst for you. Well done on learning to give yourself the love you deserve - hope I can do the same too. @@amydefehey Amy! I have not kept up with your content lately - I have been busy with my own journey lately but I thought I’d give you a bit of an update. I have been on lexapro for a few months now and things have changed a lot. I’m about three months off of alcohol, two off of cigarettes and have shed about 8-10kg (~16-20 lbs). My mental health is much improved and I can relate now very much to your discussion in your videos about a sense of thriving - I have probably never thrived in my lifetime before now. I recently also had a very ínstense psychedelic experience that was challenging but beautiful and most importantly helped me reframe my perspective and shake off some old unhelpful narratives limiting my self expression and ability to connect with others. Your videos have played a part in this journey so thank you for being vulnerable and sharing your experience so openly. As I said I haven’t kept up with your more recent content lately but I hope you are well and continuing to thrive through all of life’s ups and downs. Best of luck in 2024 and beyond Max xx
