I love this. Since I turned 30 I stop caring what other people think. Instead of trying to pass a test or a task first time to save face I just jump straight in and make mistakes coz I know it’s the quickest way to learn. Life’s too short. Attack it!

Pretty sure this exact realization is why so many of us are more successful in our latter years than our earlier. It's such a life changing lesson to learn and it takes some of us that first decade of adulthood to unlearn the whole "prodigy" mentality that media puts on a pedestal. Needless to say I agree with you 100% lol

You said in a different video, money doesn’t create new problems, it creates different problems. You’ll have problems broke and problems with money. And they’re not the same problems. Obviously. This clip reminds me of that idea, which has helped me immensely.

Wow, I needed to hear this. Thank you. I've been feeling a bit fearful of going for what matters to take the business forward because I just don't have the experience Or skills and don't know what to expect. You are right, you end up unknowingly staying in that safe zone and I have realised I just need to go for it and if I mess up so be it, learn, adjust and do it again and again.

Thank you, Leila. I am nowhere near 7 figures but I this video has been extremely helpful. I can definitely relate to the productive procrastination mindset because when I first started I was overly confident and became more humble and cautious over time - and now just do things I already know how to do, but I like the productive failure mindset. It's real and it works. I know this, because I used to do a lot in the beginning.

This is so good. It’s also a realization I’m starting to come to right now. In practice this looks like: asking a question that might make you look silly, reaching out to a client before you have all your ducks perfectly in a row, shipping a version of your product without endlessly tweaking every last little detail, etc. Basically just doing the dang thing knowing there’s a chance you’ll fail, because then you’ll know what about it failed and what needs to be adjusted going forward.

Because it doesnt get tiring and frustrating learning something new.I think this is why a lot of people that have plans of losing weight give up early after they lose 15 pounds of the 60 pounds they wanted to lose.
