My notes from the video: Set constraints so you have less resources than you need to get it done. How do you achieve your goals while setting constraints? How do you have a $3m, $5m, $10, or $40m a year business while working, say 5 hours a day. And know what you would do with the rest of your time - to have a fulfilled life. *It's hard to sustain success while sacrificing happiness.* (Love this quote) Constraints make you better!

I watched that video where you talked that you’re 29 but people think you’re 40. You have the wisdom of a 40 year old businesswoman and are a visionary. I want to have a woman like you in my life who’s intelligent and trustworthy who can do the hard work and sacrifices to make it to the top. But unfortunately there are less people like that. Any suggestions on finding that right partner who understands you and who joins your journey to success. ❤

Hey Leila babe, arguably though, you and alex both laser focussed so much to generate this multi-million dollar business in those 2 years. so the sacrifice was worth it and now you can take your foot off the accelerator. Maybe had you not worked so hard in those 2 years, things may not have happened the way you wanted it to be? I'm really keen to learn how what you and alex did to get the business from $0 to $100,000 and then $100,000 to $1mil and so on? I own an ecomm business, but still interested to learn from your success. thanks and many kisses from singapore xx

I just want to say that as a 24 year old female baby entrepreneur, I find you super inspiring! xx My biz niche is about combining language learning with food. I'm just worried about managing such a slim profit margin biz which will be heavily dependent on high quantity of sales to keep it operational. Currently figuring out branding + content strategy (+ setting up a corner of my mum's kitchen as a cute food photography studio :D) Do you know anyone in the food space that I can learn from/connect with? You're a gem, keep doing what you're doing and I hope you're able to find the right businesses for your portfolio goals :) xx

@@TS-xn7ix Thank you, I appreciate your input on this!! If you're curious about an update on the financials, I've decided to go extreme and turn it into a social enterprise (donating 50% of profit) and use that "good will" mission to help increase the price and profit margin. Also, I'm finding that this is also helping to attract potential partnership opportunities (only a few initial conversations so far) - this means I can increase my capacity to deliver a combined "product + service" package offering with higher value overall for the customers (and partners), again, reason for higher price and profit margin for us. In addition, I've diversified the types of products and service offerings along with the prices: e.g. a "standard" product for "repeat purchase" aka the crisps, a "premium + personalised" "one-time purchase" product + service offering delivered with partners hopefully through pre-sale. And finally, releasing a "monthly unique new product" in limited quantities available to purchase for £50 only for that single month - probably another pre-sale option? Maybe even allow the last 50 people to "bid it out" if there is a lot of demand for this unique monthly offering where 100% of the proceeds will be donated? As you can see, I've learned a lot about pricing + finances + cash flow in the last 3 months :D

Hey Leila. first of all, thanks for your content. I love this advice, but I wonder, every person that made it financially after hustling non-stop for a long period of time gives this advice, make time for your family and friends, make time for you to breathe and your levels of productivity will increase + you'll enjoy the journey. but I always hear this advice in hindsight. I wonder if you wouldn't make it yet, you would come to the same conclusion (maybe yes). hence, maybe we all (entrepreneurs) do have to go through this phase to fully embrace this perspective + to reach at least some of our goals faster.

Great topic and interesting to look at both sides ! One thing we’re taught from mentors is to identify WHAT we’re willing to sacrifice for success. Most people (probably not your audience) want a fast food success path. So we need to understand FIRST: the tremendous amount of work, effort, energy, and sacrifice it’ll take. Execute for a good while like a crazy beast. It’s earning your shot. But then and Only then can we earn the right to add healthy constraints and add fulfillment, leisure, relaxation etc back into the mix. Takes a cycle to understand the balance and need to not succeed to death. You rock Boss Lady!
