    This reminds me of KZread user 'DIY Dr K' who did something similar, but used an iPhone XR in a Switch shell instead. However, I remember him doing other projects involving stuff like Orange Pi and ODROID.

    What a really always wanted to see is one of my ideas coming to reality, which is like a super Samsung Dex dock, using an hdmi to usb c adapter but the hole thing would look like some kind of mini console, then you insert your phone in it and is connects and have a cooling system too

    could have used a trimmed Wii motherboard but that would have probably been a lot more complicated and expensive

    ​@Windo0ows Eh From what I remember, not counting the official Virtual Console, as each game had its own fine-tuned emulation profile, N64 emulation was pretty iffy on Wii 64. Even a Raspberry Pi 4, a weaker system, handled N64 better in 720p if configured properly And Nintendo DS emulation was just garbage, with I think WarioWare: Touch and Yoshi's Island DS being the games that ran the best But it's been years since I've touched my modded Wii (probably 2016 or 2017), so it's possible that those emulators improved since then

    Witch phone screen is this project made from? The big bezels and speaker hole give it away.. but phone screens are a mixed bag that relys on software to work so im interested in that aspect of the project

    This is a generic phone screen that Orange Pi has attached a custom driver board and made work with the Orange Pi development board.

    I'd recommend using Moonlight (with sunshine if not NVidia gpu) as It get better performance, less input delay and better image than steam remote

    I made an android console to but mine is has a cardboard housing because i dont have a 3d printer and i used an old Samsung phone as the brain and a Bluetooth keyboard as controller

    pretty badass. I'm guessing you just had the phone lying around. but they do make fairly cheap screens you can find on Amazon compatible with raspberry pi and orange pi. did you 3d print the case yourself?
