ive seen a few others say it but those cells need to be balanced for it to not be a hazard. and not just all charged to maxed and then put together, also your charging board is charging them as one single battery and not 4 cells of a battery.

Have you posted the model anywhere? I had this idea too and it would save me modelling it! Thank you :)

I'd advise to not permanently attach that combo charger and step-up converter, and use double sided tape or clips instead, whatever makes it easy to put a new one there. I've always had a bad experience with those failing after a while of use.

Calling them "disposable" is incorrect in the first place anyways, since they use rechargeable lithium batteries.
