My brother bought one of these a few months ago. He has 3 kids so he needed a big vehicle to fit everyone. One of the best features on his is called CarTalk. He can press a button on the center display to speak at a normal volume and it goes through the speakers to the 3rd row. This is good for him because of how young the kids are (7, 5, and 2 months) this makes sure he can save yelling for when he needs it, and they don't get used to him yelling all the time and don't think anything of it, or make sure they don't think they are doing something wrong when he just needs to tell them something.

So lots of engineering and code to process, but essentially the camera signals from around the car are fed to a processor that changes and balances the perspective, then stitches together the resulting images. Like when you look at anything, things that are far away appear smaller and things that are close by appear larger. The computer’s brain takes the image and enlarges what is far away and shrinks what’s close by to change the perspective. Does that make a bit of sense? Mechanical engineer here (all engineers write code nowadays)

I wanted this, the 50k model. But every dealership in the next 3 states around me wanted a up charge of 5-7k extra. Which also screwed the interest and monthly charge PLUS the vehicle wouldn’t even come for 2 months. And the few that had them in stock demanded an extra 2k charge for limited stock. So I ended up getting a suburb Ascent. Pretty much has everything besides a heated steering wheel and moonroof, BUT it’s got really good bad road features!

Have I just witnessed the intro of the best economy price of the year?

So it uses a bunch of cameras around the car to stitch it together and warp the images according to perspective. It looks flat on some angles but on others its really nice. Source - I work for hyundai.

It actually is… Which is sad if were a fan of the Lincoln brand like me. I had one last year and… It was hell, unreliable so I couldn’t use it for roadtrips (which is why I bought it brand new), bad laggy tech, and it was just expensive to maintain in general. Sold it and got myself a brand new Escalade👌🏻👌🏻 Beautiful piece of machinery

@@six-six3617 Almost 2 years in two months and still perfect. I take very good care of it, except on road-trips since I go with my children and you know there’s chips and candy flying all around but it’s an amazing machine, very responsive and less expensive to maintain than I thought. Can’t believe I disliked Chevrolet/Cadillac for so long to be honest…
I just gotta give you your props. You are very good at reviewing these vehicles. Keep up the great work man. ❤👍🏾

Bro, at the end: “I can recline 🥺” lmao 🤣🤣
I wanted this, the 50k model. But every dealership in the next 3 states around me wanted a up charge of 5-7k extra. Which also screwed the interest and monthly charge PLUS the vehicle wouldn’t even come for 2 months. And the few that had them in stock demanded an extra 2k charge for limited stock. So I ended up getting a suburb Ascent. Pretty much has everything besides a heated steering wheel and moonroof, BUT it’s got really good bad road features!

This might be the best vehicle for the money it is. It has everything I could want as a Driver and a Passenger.
I got my Elantra in 2020 value edition. It’s nice. Most ppl were shocked how well it drove and how smooth it was. Compared to my uncles 2000-2001 Elantra Hyundai has made some serious progress.
