Here’s a trick for the left and right problem. I have dyslexia and this always works so what you do is you think of the arm you write/draw with and if you’re left-handed, you will know that this hand is left so that side is left and if you’re right handed then when you think of how you’re gonna write something you’re going to use your right hand and you will know that’s right. I hope this helps! 👍

The left and right thing. Yeah…you’re not alone. Learning to drive a car helps, of course, but the whole “this hand looks like an L” trick is the worst, because it takes too much conscious thought for LITERALLY EVERY SITUATION IN WHICH YOU NEED TO KNOW. I usually think of the hand I’d write with as left (in my case), because that’s more automatic. Not enough, but it helps. The lane you have to drive on as right also helps, I think.

The left and right thing is really interesting to me. I've never met someone who wasn't already so ingrained with the idea that it was a second nature association. Seems like it would be very difficult to navigate through life without that knowledge but after a bit of thought, I guess you dont really "need" to know it. Just makes communication with others easier

As someone who also struggles with left and right what finally helped me understand it without having to think about it is the L button and R button on controllers....they stand for left and right...I was like 20 when I learned this trick

What you could do to know your lefts and rights (this is what I did), so basically you put a bracelet in your left hand and you make sure it’s a bracelet that you can feel easily. So when you’re blindfolded if you’re confused the instant you feel the bracelet you won’t be confused anymore.
