The funny thing is, I theorised this was the case a few years ago as it did seem incredibly strange to me that you could catch god with no repurcussions, plus the existence of multiple individuals. Fiction tends to have godly entities utilise physical avatars for the mortal races to be able to comprehend them, which is what I based my theory off of, and how the "thousand arms" of Arceus were perhaps referring to the catchable Arceus avatars. I got talked down. So P:LA having this confirmed made me feel pretty smug.

I love how everyone playing this game knew what would happen to that Wurmple and yet the "plot twist" was still entertaining. There wasn't a single person who thought that Wurmple would ACTUALLY become a beautifly and yet it was beautiful.

I really wish there had been more town building aspects to it. Like needing ground pokemon and grass pokemon to clear roads and decorate the town. Fighting pokemon to do the heavy lifting in helping build or move things. I really want the pokemon series to try new and more original concept for the franchise cuz THIS FRANCHISE NEEDS VARIETY then gym battles.

@Dragongamer 7 I think the point of Legends is to explore a region's past, it's probably why it has "legends" in the name. That said, it would be interesting to see what Zygarde was doing during Yveltal and Xerneas's old war. It's just weird af that it's supposed to be the Rayquaza of XY, but it doesn't do much in-game. As for Team Flare, tbh it's better to read the Adventures manga or watch the anime. They did a decent job at portraying Team Flare as a competent villain team.

Even if the completely invisible factors that make wrumple evolve into either cascoon or silcoon (ehrm personality value I think?) turn out to match silcoon's, the wrumple will evolve into a cascoon. It's just a quest that makes the dude appreciate his pokemon despite their appearance. A nice message, and a funny inside joke that hits pokedex completists, nuzlokers and shiny hunters hard ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I don’t know why, but that final moment at 1:27:49 felt like one of those badass trade blows moment where both guys land the final hit on each other at the same time, and one keels over injured while the other looks smug before falling dead. Like, imagine if you were in the red and heard the final buzzer noise when that happened, but then it still counted as a victory for you because you struck first. Imagine the tension you’d feel in that moment.

The raw "WHAT?" as Giratina transforms is the definition of fear

Fun fact: the yellow rings around Arceus when it’s summoning you is the same formation as the magnagates of the mystery dungeon series!!!

I used only ghost types in this game, so the final boss giving me the spooky plate and the best Giratina fight ever was just perfect for me personally. Ghost vs ghost, and my boys came out on top.

Seeing him use so many pokeballs to catch the starters killed me inside. The gamer part of my brain that says, “i should use these sparingly because i may need them later” was triggered 😂

I never found cherubi Its a shame it is one of my favorites Fine by me i have all the unown and i have a ton of eevees and magikarp I filled an entire box with magikarp because i used them to farm the grit materials Edit: i caught an alpha unown idk they existed

When I first played through the game, when I found out that you could even get Eevee in the first area, I spent a whole two hours just LOOKING for where to find one, and in that time I got a shiny Buizel, a shiny Shinx, and no Eevee's

@@syndere6755 I know. I had to go back to the village a total of 10 times to finally get a tree to shake in that area. Took me 10 more times to get a Cherubi.

Honestly love the dynamic of this game. The way you can crouch and dodge and run around the battle is fun. I really like it and the way the pokeballs look is so cute.

I loved Jacob's reaction to Spear Pillar, Palkia's Origin Form, Volo's theme, and Giratina's fake out defeat.

This was probably my favorite pokemon game. I haven't played many to be honest, but if the ones I have played this one was so much fun! From the calming feeling of the town, to the panic of running from an alpha pokemon at a low level, it really is awesome. And sure, it doesn't have as many actual pokemon battles in it, but it still does. You can still catch Pokemon the old fashioned way of battling them if you want as well. It just isn't a requirement. You can use your skills of stealth, dodge the attacks and stun them, or battle with your pokemon. I really hope they do more of this in the future.

I don't know why but the way he says the line at 1:16:25 actually chilling. legitimately good

Volo is by far my favourite villain in pokemon now. I never been this scared or frustrated with a trainer before, I got wooped like 20 times by his basically 8 pokemons, it didn't really helped that my whole team was 6 levels lower than his also. His theme slaps and his designs is top tier. I never, in any pokemon game felt such relief and then immediately major anxiety at this part 1:16:49 , I just barely finished off the first Giratina stage with like 5 hp on my last pokemon and then it just came back from the dead. Vey memorable guy, I both hated and loved to battle him

The issue is freaking SPIRITOMB. I am missing like 2 wisps in each area and it sounds so tedious just to get them all. Also Bastiodon and shieldon but thats rng

I recommend checking out AustinJohnPlays’ videos on the wisps. He helped me find the last five or so that I was missing and I felt so silly for missing them. Also check out his video on Space Time rifts to make sure you’re in the right area to get Shieldon ;D

If you think about it, if Volo is the ancestor to Cynthia, wouldn't that make Cynthia's theme his actually? And it was passed down to her for her to use and give a spin on it? Also RIP Regigigas. Even without abilities it can't escape slow start.

Alpha is one of the few, so far, who doesn't go running randomly head first into the time-space distortion and die/wipe as a result, he actually hide and observe first! What a champ

1:00:18 I had the exact same thought lmao, recent pokemon games conditioned me into expecting a free master ball in the late game

1:15:00 I had the opposite reaction honestly. I saw that spiritomb and (was confused cause I thought we found the first one of those) immediately knew what was happening. And I felt *cocky* I looked at that man like "Oh, you think I don't know what this is? Do you think I do not know how to beat this team? Do you really think you can do it like Cynthia does? I've been here before Volo. You're nothing but a pale imitation.

I like how Adaman’s name sounds close to Adamant, like the crystal that goes with Dialga. So why isn’t Irida named Luster or something like that? I know it’s like iridescent which is a synonym but they could have made it better.

You know, watching this, is really hit me how amazing your editing is. You're able to communicate SO MUCH with your cuts and it all feels so seamless... I have nothing else to say, I'm just super impressed!

I love that pokemon not only did the (somewhat predictable depending on the person) surprise involvement of Giratina, but also added that second phase, so even the people who overlevel and just act unthinkingly throughout the battle have to panic at the end. Alpha went in basically jokingly, by the end of the first phase he was a little concerned but still confident, and then it came back with only two pokemon left. If that giratina had used a strong attack as its first origin form move he'd have been doomed, probably
