Honestly I wouldn't mind if they kept remaking this battle every few seasons, but at the same time I believe Goku vs Superman 3 will be the last and should be the last rematch

2 is still so funny in retrospect with them saying it's pointless to pit a limitless character against a character with limits, only for that exact verdict to be given to at least 3 more episodes after that

Honestly I'm just so sick of this. Oooh we get it Goku will never win Superman has limitless hax strength and abilities and he has 15 million different versions of himself cool. It's unfair to put him against Goku since even Gokus variations has limits that break again and again, then again there's a reason why Goku is more popular than Superman. When you have a character who can do literally anything it becomes boring and repetitive and you have to make BS ways to beat him. THIS is what Toriyama understands unlike most of the writers of Superman

Difference is Superman stories focus on different things: both characters are good for different reasons! Stop using the second DB’s logic. It sucks it’s why they made a #3 in the first place

They already explained why, GvsS1 had bad research and non canon stuff like ssj4, GvsS2 had better research and included stuff from the (at the time) latest movies but it had the wrong caracterization for the characters, so in GvsS3 they wanted to have better research and an actual in-character fight respecting both of the characters
