Disney dominated the box office in 2019, taking almost 40% of total gross revenue. Some people are getting pretty nervous. It's by far the most powerful studio in Hollywood at this point. But does that mean Disney has a lock on the industry?
I don't believe so. Disney's $11 billion 2019 is a milestone, but it's also the peak. How do I know? Find out in this week's video!

Hey thanks so much! I do think it’s hilarious in hindsight, how literally the worst possible thing that could happen to cinema... actually DID happen. My video is really an understatement in that regard. Of course, no one could have predicted a pandemic would maim the box office so bad

Obviously the government shouldn't have allowed 1 studio to grow this big
Then of course Covid-19 hit as of the universe said: “Deal with this stuff.” I’d hardly expect Star Wars will be making big bucks on the silver screen. As soon as say Universal get a billion and a half from say Fast & Furious 9 - they give a toss. They say they won’t, but they will.
That was before they became woke and now Disney is in the crapper.

I HOPE THEY CRASH AND BURN! They’ve literally worn out all of their franchises and alienated their respective fan bases. By 2025 I think Disney will truly be a hollow shell of what it used to be
