My deal with the whole lake thing is simply why? It seems so impractical. Especially at that time, how did they ever expect to recover it? Also Many of the major companies gave him what amounted to hundreds of millions to do with as he pleased partially because they were so enthralled with him and probably more so bc he made it worth their while in other ways. I’m not saying that funded the war or anything it’s just crazy they gave him basically an unlimited credit line. So Switzerland was basically the worlds biggest money launderer?

Google Mefo bills, a simple article will tell you more than this entire video. The premise that gold stolen from countries that were invaded to build weapons to invade countries is just idiotic. The German rearmament happened (and was financed) BEFORE they started invading everybody. The same is true of Gold stolen from the Jews, that didn't happen until they started rounding up the Jews. And all this talk about the gold hidden at the END of the war wasn't used for rearmament either!

Me too (the financing of Germany before and during the war). But this is not the answer. The stolen 36 billion dollars of Gold would not cover the budget of a modern cut down army like the UK for a year, let alone 5. One day perhaps I will find something that attempts to answer the questions seriously.

Genius move... take double the necessary containers... dig and bury some with the gold inside close by where some dont see... then let everyone see you throwing cases into the lake... its obvious you just threw all the gold in the lake right?

Germany steals gold to get foreign currency I understand that part but with that foreign currency who were they buying supplies from they were cut off from the international market so what was the foreign currency actually used for for example the British had used gold to buy supplies from the US

They were not cut from the start and definitely not from everyone. Up until mid-1941 they still had most of the world to trade with. And even after the inclusion of USA into the war, there were still countries that were neutral that Germany could trade with and use foreign currency as a more stable/secure option.

These notes are not counterfeit, but rather copies. The Jews worked out the sequencing of the serial numbers used by the Royal mint, so these are a copy, duplicate of the original. So here are two(2) notes with the same serial number. Also fun fact. The 1948 war of independence waged by the fledgling state of Israel was in part finance with this 'copy' script. The English should not have betrayed Israel.😉
