Markelle Fultz has more grit and determination than most of the "stars" in the league. KD? Kyrie? Harden? Zion? Yeah, Fultz has balled his way back from two major injuries AND had to deal with the media's "Bust" label. I would put him alongside Derrick Rose and Goran Dragic for the ability to resurrect his career - I don't think his skillset would be a fit down here in Miami but his MINDSET sure appears to

I think what sucks is if he really did have TOS early on, they shoulda said that bc it explains a lot. Not only is TOS severly painful it actually compresses your nerves along your arms which would then alter the way your muscles fire and could account for that jerky pause durign the release of his shot

Fultz problem isn't just bad 3 point percentage, it's fact that he refuses to shoot 3s. This year 5 games he shot 0 -3 for 3 Last year 60 games, 87 attemps. Like, he is nba guard, nba guards nowdays rack 100 attemps in 15 games. Fultz attemped 273 threes over span of 7 seasons. That notion alone makes him predictable and hurts Magic's already poorly spaced offense even further. It would be foolish for Orlando to keep him given they have Suggs, Cole and now Black.

He is very talented and has a great midrange game. Low usage in games will unfortunatelly not fix anything...aside from mpg there is constant training, back to backs and in general far too many games in the NBA. And his strengths aren't necessarily suited to the modern analytics driven NBA...need a solid 3 as a guard.

If he’s looking for a major contract then I hope to god the magic don’t resign him. He looked like he recovered enough last year to at least be a role player but this year he's regressed and has been even worse. His jump shot is completely broken and he is zero threat to score outside of at the rim. Sad story but I think he's out of the league soon

Just imagine they took Tatum. Tatum and Embid today would be the best big 2 in the league. Tatum would be their second option ffs 😧 and that's without being hypothetical about who they could have taken over Noel and Simmons but you could argue they wouldn't have had the number three pick in 2017 without that happening. Although I would also never lose faith in "the process" so maybe they could have been 😅

funny thing is Sixers drafted Tyrese Maxey with the pick they got back from the Fultz trade, Sixers ended up getting very lucky out of this whole debacle. Ben Simmons on the other hand is just a mess and wasn't much better then Fultz as a number 1 pick who appears to be heading out of the NBA after his contract is up.

That’s the difference between a great executive and a horrible one. BS and Fultz were both taken by that moron Bryan Colangelo. Maxey was drafted by Darryl Morey. If Morey had the number 1 pick, he probably would’ve traded down instead of wasting the pick on that soft ass bum BS.

Lol and the bigger irony is the fact that the Sixers could have drafted Jaylen Brown in 2016 and Jayson Tatum in 2017. They essentially passed up on the Celtics 2 cornerstone superstars to draft a disastrous bust + a selfish bum that only cares about his own paycheck.

Markelle is tough and resilient. I know there’s no chance he returns to Orlando. I think Miami would be a great spot for him. He can be a playmaker, crafty with the ball, and very solid defensive contributor. Most importantly he wouldn’t have the pressure of having to score a lot.
