I’m a huge hornets fan and I think this trade deadline was a step in the right direction. I went to the game vs Memphis yesterday and with grant, micic, and everyone else they added they actually have a bench and not g league players. I think taking miller was also a good pick and he and miles can take over for now until he is fully back. Lamelo needs to be a 20-22 point and 10 assist guy, because when he drops 25-30 consistently every night it doesn’t work well and it doesn’t help for chemistry. I also think that they need to get rid of Cody Martin, he just dribbles around. They have a great young core and I’m excited to see how this pans out!

  • @2decadent2

That’s an interesting take on lamelos performance. I never thought about how his ppg would affect the rest of the players like that. Why do you think he joined the hornets in the first place? Do you think in the future he should switch to a higher caliber team where he can ball out as much as he wants?

  • @TheReal704Champ

Part of the reason the team is bad is because Melo stays injured on the sidelines half the time. Can't be a super star if you can't stay healthy. Brandon Miller might be the future of the Hornets anyway.

Failing to mention that the Hornets are 13th in the East and Zero hopes of making the playoffs is because MELO HAS BEEN HURT AND NOT PLAYING!! Not only that the whole team has been dealing with injuries hence the "mishmash" of starting lineups. Normally when the best 3 or 4 players on the team is constantly out due to injuries that team won't do as well. Mark Williams Out, before the trade Gordon Hayward Out, before the trade Terry Rozier missed a large amount of time...How do you think the Bucks would look if Giannis and Dame were out more than half the year or Boston if Jaylen Brown and Jason Tatum never actually played. Or any team..........With that said this last trade deadline should solve some of this and the tide should turn soon

  • @ddavis8988

Thats nice, but they haven't made the playoffs at all since he's been on the team. So, we can't say, "cause he's been injured." Cause when he wasn't injured, it was the same result. Plus, not being able to stay on the course is a problem.

So they showed and were showing major progress before. They were in the play in both of those years. Yes they got blown out both those years but they were there. This year Miles is suspended for the first ten games then Rozeir gets injured, then Rozeir comes back and the very same game he comes back Melo gets injured while this is happening Hayward gets injured then their starting Center gets injured and none of them has come back.

it is on the hornets up until this years' trade deadline. The hornets never really made any big moves to acquire actual pieces. they had Gordon Haywards large contract and that was, in itself, a majority of their money, up until this year they hadnt made many moves to acquire real talent to surround melo with. But with Bmiller melo miles bridges tre mann seth curry and mark williams yes they now have a potential roster. but we havent been able to see that since hes sadly injury prone at this point. he should care about his health now more than anything. take a page out of steph's book as all of melo's injuries have been ankle related.

When you’re down by 30 points and make a 3, you don’t do the “ice in my veins” point to your forearm, you keep your head down and play D. He is not a winner in the NBA. And until he is, I stand my ground. He cares about looking cool in front of the cameras instead of caring about winning. Not allowed to be showing off when you’re losing. They do not have a winning record since he signed there.

A REAL PG in Vasa when Melos on the bench or if he gets hurt.. Real SHOOTERS in Seth and DB, a untapped star with HIGH potential in Tre Manns, and a REAL "Culture and Glue guy" (Also a hometown favorite) in Grant Williams.. I mean that would be an amazing legacy. But I honestly think maybe once h his contract is up, lamelo should go play for a better team where he can be the star and ball out with a team that has the ability to support his talent. I’m not a hornets fan but I live close to charlotte so I go to like 8-10 games a year and while I love watching lamelo play ive been to a good bit of games where he’s been injured and hasn’t played and every time the team looks better without him

The SCARY Truth About LaMelo Ball Nobody Is Noticing??? He's trash but get a few highlight passes every now and then and people think he great. The whole Ball family is trash and should have never made it to the NBA. But the NBA is an entertainment league and the Ball Brothers along with Lavar attracted many eye balls to the screen

i’d like to see the people in the comments try to lead the hornets anywhere 😂 guarantee you’d be injured 20 games in too.
