I didn't think the rats were necessarily foreshadowing Blood and Cheese. They were symbolic of the rot in King's Landing and also may be how Larys knows so much. It'll be interesting to see if he has anything to do with the killings. It's blamed on Mysaria and those two seem opposed at the moment.

It still makes me laugh at the fact everyone could believe that Addam could be the bastard son of Corlys. Being a dragon rider never came from the Velayon side. It came from the Targaryen side. Laenor and Laena were the very first of House Velayon to ever ride a dragon. While House Velayon are from Old Valyria, they were never dragon lords and therefore never had dragons, until Corlys and Rhaenys married and had children.
