Great video as always KeCo! I know that I’m a little late on commenting, but I thought I’d jump in on your first point in regards to the theory that the Sideshow “double boxing” option indicates imminent releases. I’m usually the guy that makes those posts on Reddit about the option becoming available for figures, and admittedly, I feel really silly doing it sometimes lol. Especially since it’s considered a conspiracy theory by some people. Understandably and rightfully so. Now, I couldn’t tell you when I was made aware of the whole “edit boxing preferences” option, and the correlation it has to possibly indicating releases, but I know that it became a thing sometime last year, and I’ve been tracking it since then. As much as I wish I had some concrete numbers for you that would help showcase its accuracy (or inaccuracy) in hinting at imminent releases, I don’t. However, I can tell you that since I was made aware of it sometime last year, there have only been a small handful of figures that, when the “edit boxing preferences” option popped up on Sideshow, they didn’t release within 2 weeks after. Maybe 5 figures at the most. Of course, I don’t order every single figure that Hot Toys announces, so there are probably a couple more figures that have had the option pop up and nothing came of it, but I do order a lot. For example, some figures released in 2023 that have come out soon after the “edit boxing preferences option” appeared on Sideshow are Scarlet Witch, Moon Knight, Sylvie, Loki, President Loki, Wolverine, Cobb Vanth, Cad Bane, Boba Fett, Fennec Shand, Doc Ock, Electro, Green Goblin, Koska Reeves, Kate Bishop, Bespin Luke, the KX Enforcer Droid, Black Panther, Andrew Garfield Spider-Man and the Lizard Display Base, Crosshair, and I’m sure you get the point lol. Anyway, apologies for my super long comment! I just wanted to provide some more context to it in hopes to give the theory some more merit as I believe it to mean something. Plus, I find it nice to be able to inform others in the community on potential releases, and it seems like it does so more often than not.

Great video Keco! Really interesting to hear about these theories! For me, the only one I really have has to do with the headsculpts. Endgame Loki's was subpar so that we would have to buy TVA Loki. The waitlist theory is also very good. I was legit heartbroken that Andrew's Spidey waitlisted and released same week. It really caught me off guard. I know I should've preordered but at the time, I already had several preorders and payment plans going and I didn't want to burden my finances any further. Edit: only because I saw the ad on IG about Sideshow's wishlist giveaway, from what I remember, last Christmas on their giveaway, the moderator made it seem like whoever was winning the giveaways were people they knew

Interesting topic and video Keco, i think there are so many things that Hot Toys and Sideshow doesn't want us to know, that if we knew some of us could quit the Hobby... I've heard also that Hot Toys owns some 3rd party company in order to make pieces that doesn't have license. One thing is for sure, it's not normal the almost Nasa secrecy level they manage, they're silent, it's easier to communicate with extra terrestrial life than with them 😂🤣 and that is something to suspect about. Just watched the latest podcast with you and Will. New conspiracy theory! In the same way that Playstation would use Xbox's going first at E3 to change their messaging and become the better deal, I think InArt and Hot Toys are waiting on each other and delaying the release of The Batman so that they could make changes and offer the better figure based on whoever goes first
