Thanks for the kind comments, glad it is of help. I'd wish you good luck when you do yours but I don't think many people will have too many issues to be fair, it's quite straight forward.

Thank you, glad it was of some help!
Thanks for sharing. I found this much more informative and easier to follow than the Hope video. The first time I did this I was unaware of the deep press tool sold by hope. Definitely made the job easier this time! I still struggle getting the green seal back on though. The Hope tool for this isn't even worth buying in my opinion

I'm not a fan of installing the labyrinth seal either, just feels like you're going to break it even with the correct tool.
Excellently detailed video, looks like the process for an Nukeproof horizon v2 hub would be very similar? Do u not need to use a freehub oil/grease for the pawls?

Thanks, tried to make it as short as possible. I would say a lot of the hubs now have a similar process unless they are shimano which use cup and cone bearings still. I would run some sort of lube where the pawl comes into contact with the freehub body only because it's metal on metal, how long that lube actually stays in the gap I don't know. Else where I don't use grease or oil as it's a bit of a "magnetic" for grit and dirt but if you wanted to you can just don't use a lot of it. Hope stick a few blobs of grease inside the hub where the freehub sits.

Awesome video, I have a few hope pro 4 rear hubs that need new hub bearings, I’m wondering where to get all those tools in your video? as I have three rear wheels with grainy bearings after 80,000 miles each …
can you replace a micro-spline body with a HG body on the Hopepro4? (12 speed cassette)

Hi, yes this is possible. They just swap over. Reuse the same green seal.
Where did you find the new bearings? I can't seem to find them anywhere

I normally go to a company called Wych Bearings. You can enter either the bearing code 6001rs for example or the dimensions 12x28x8 in their search bar and it will bring up different qualities of that size. Simply Bearings is another company that I use. On ebay I use kineticbearings or airevelobearings. Once you know the size you can find who has the best price.
Does the XD use the 1mm spacer?

I would use it. It shows in the parts list on the hope site for the XD dirver. HUB1009-18 www.hopetech.com/_repository/1/documents/Pro-4-Freehub-Assemblies1(1).pdf

Eine Art Lagerziehwerkzeug. Ich glaube, auf Englisch nennt man das Blind Bearing.
