Random story time - I once learned to play Baccarat because I was going to be in Monaco and wanted to do the James Bond thing... sans suave and the backing of Her majesty, of course. I got suited and booted and went to Casino de Monte-Carlo specifically to play baccarat. I wandered up... fought through the sea of guys in long shorts, polo shirts and caps, finally making it up the steps. The lovely person at the door told me I looked lovely and asked what I was looking to play. I said "Baccarat". With a gentle sigh and a smile I was advised that no one plays that anymore and to open a table would require something special (money loaded players - which I was not). Blackjack it was for me that night , along with some jolly nice folk wearing long shorts who were bored of the slots. Good night... dream shattering, but good

What he actually says was that he got dizzy, not that he blacked out. "I closed my eyes [while holding the note} and held the note so long that when I opened my eyes, the room was spinning. I had to hold onto the wall of the sound booth to steady myself in case I fell down. Thank God, I didn't."

Of course at 61 now l have seen all the Bonds. In fact my first date ever, l was 16 the summer of 1977, was my boyfriend taking me to see "The Spy Who Loved Me", with Roger Moore & Barbara Bach. Coincidentally Barbara Bach married Ringo Starr a few years after that & are *still* married today!!👍 But I'll watch anything Sean Connery is in, even his foray into Hitchcock with "Marnie", where you also aren't always sure if you're watching Connery or his Marnie character with a little Bond thrown in,lol! Enjoyed the video; thank💐you!🌈🇨🇦☘️⚜️

Precisely. The ranking HT gave us is garbage tbh. Dalton was an excellent Bond. If he'd done at least 1 more movie (GoldenEye) he'd be remembered more. It's understandable that by time UA and Eon were done with their lawsuits, 4 years had gone by and Dalton didn't want to get back on that horse, so to speak. But I'll always appreciate what he brought to the character of Bond.
