Honda ATC Trailer Clone! - DIY Build! The First Reproduction Unit of the Canadian Honda ATV Trailer
Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары
The day has finally come! The Canadian Honda Trailer has finally been reproduced and is available for sale! My buddy Dan Henninge reached out to me some time after I had bought one from a Canadian gentleman up in Montreal. He ask if I could get him measurements and pictures of the trailer so he could make one for himself (he's an EXTREMELY talented welder/fabricator). I fed him all that information and hinted pretty heavily that maybe he should make 2 since he was already making 1. He knew exactly what I was implying and ever so politely asked me to be patient. He said if he ever made a 2nd, he'd get ahold of me. Well, he got ahold of me a few months ago with pictures of 5 units in production!
This is the 2nd one he's ever made and the first of 5 he's selling to the Honda loving public. If you want one, the details are at the end of the video!
Contact Dan on Facebook to inquire about buying one - / dan.henninge

Best pulling machine ive ever used was an 83 200e. Never seen one of those honda trailers outside of the old commercials you find floating around online.
I dont want to do facebook! Very cool though and looks well made!
Only seen one of these in person, was at a farm auction and quite rough, but still very cool to see! ( Of course it went for a-lot ). 😎👌🇨🇦

Yup, they definitely don't pop up often, especially down in the states. They're neat buggies!
Very nice! Awesome looking recreation. Very faithful to the original trailer. Good video Preston.

Cool. My old neighbor used to have one of those trailers on his big red. He also had a 78 chey with a cap. Pretty sure he bought them new and kept them all these years. They don't make them like they used to. Cheers from saint john nb

Thanks brother! It hadn't even been together for 12 hours when you saw it. It tows really nice too.
That looks amazing! Personally I would prefer a ATV/ATC type tire on the trailer.

Well done. It looks a lot like my Miro R3060 trailer with big 25X8-12 wheels. The body is placed directly on the axle to reduce the center of gravity. 🙂

Preston, I do believe that is a 83 atc big red not an 84.The reason I say this is I can see in your video it is a chain drive with hi and low only.🤷♂️😊

Your comment tells me that you haven't seen the videos from late 2022 where I imported this 1984 200E from Finland and did a light restoration on it. It's a non-US model.

lol, I'll have to see what the limitations for these are when it comes to wheeling... I'm sure that would have been entering "deal breaker" status with my wife if I went that far.
I might get one to hook up to my 84 200es. With my spotlight 😜
