Just wanted to say what a fantastic video! You are such a great Mum and teacher. I have never heard of the letter box lab so thank you for that as I am going to sign up 😊. I homeschool my children too, would love to connect and chat more. Xx

@@HomeEducationJourneyUK Home Education Journey UK I have 2 girls. A 10 year old and a nearly 7 year old with SPD. They love homeschool and I completely agree with you about letting them flourish into who they are following their passions and interests. I have been watching your video's in my spare 5 minutes here and there. You are an inspiration. x

@@7devine7 Thank you, that's very kind to say! What's SPD? and how did you get in to homeschooling?

@@HomeEducationJourneyUK It stands for sensory processing disorder. We say we don't love the disorder part of SPD as there isn't anything wrong with her, it's just who she is with all her multicolour rainbowness! 😁 My eldest was in mainstream school and was bullied constantly. She is such a kind and sensitive soul. It broke my heart to see her so upset everyday so I decided to homeschool. My youngest has never been to mainstream school and is so settled, achieving and confident because of it. My only regret is not homeschooling sooner. It has taught me alot about myself as a parent too. Where abouts in the country are you? We are in west sussex. Xx

Lovely video. They are so relaxed, happy 😄 and motivated... well done you! I am home ending my two boys and was thinking about getting some workbooks to do some focused stuff each day to mix in with our free flow learning. Would you recommend any specific ones? Mine are still very resistant but I am trying lots of approaches to get them engaged! Also what sort of structure do you add into each day? Sorry for all the questions #homeedgoals lol

Can't remember exactly. You can get some similar on Amazon here: amzn.to/2E1OGl2, but you might be able to get them a little bit cheaper from Aldi or The Works or somewhere like that :)
