What tips would you add?

Thanks for this and all your videos - I'm working my way through them! Just deregistered my daughter last week so trying to get as many tips and ideas as possible. Lovely watching your family and how happy and excited about learning they all are.

I am from the US We just pulled our daughter out and put her in Homeschooling. She is actually thriving . Bullying and falling behind etc.. Our daughter has high functioning / moderate Autism and I believe taking the time to help her learning the way she needs to learn , will help prepare her for life

How are you getting on?

Thank you. This is really encouraging and inspiring. My daughters are 3 and 15 months. Its the time of year to be applying for school for my 3 yr old but I think we're going to homeschool her.

Thanks, I hv bn so anxious to hv kids bcz of the fear of sending them to traditional school system. I don't want them to be scared and hate their life since their early years of life. Today I decided that I would not send them to school. N then I searched for homeschooling n found ur channel. Thank u so much to initiate such thing. I hope u will share more like challenges n how u urself manage it wd ur own life.

Hi, really Inspired looking at Ur videos dear, just newly started to homeschooling my 9 years old for similar reasons as urs. I am nervous and excited, but school failed my child in many ways. The scolistic books u use, where do u buy from and where are the answers for them? Really love the way you do Ur homeschooling, more routine and ideas in routine would really help, if u can do more off, Thanks xxx

Hi dear, I sit one to two.hours.like two days and three four days he dont wanna do it, so im just trying and going with the flow. Its very frustrating and difficult sometimes. Iv got a three old who keeps interrupt when ever I try to do work with.the 9 yrs old. Iv started teach her too at those times now, shes more keen to learn than her brother lol. Hes gonna be ten.in.summer but we r working on year 4 books. The writing he dont wonna do, he dont like or understand writing or ideas etc Hats off to u, u make.it easy.to.look at, its really hard sometimes for me. Tnx for replying, I wish the school and teacher would have been good and do what they should suppose to do. They let us down,

Hi, I'm a new subscriber, I love your vlogs,,keep the videos up. you are doing a super job with your children❤ we use the scholastic books also a site called Seneca.its really good and has all the key stages on it.bbc bitesize is good too isn't it. I really like the jumping bars you have in your garden, what a fab pe lesson jumping over those then on the trampoline.x

Hi how long did it take you to get into a good routine. I have recently started homeschooling my 3 children aged 8 6 and 5 the youngest has autism. My partner passed away suddenly in April and I'm desperate to get my children settled into a routine. Thanks

So sorry to hear about your partner, how are you doing? We experimented for a while before we got the balance - but it's never really finished. Some days the kids are tired, or energetic or distracted or want to focus on something. One of the best things about home schooling is having the ability to be flexible and find a way to work that benefits all of you.

Would twinkl cover everything you need ? Or would having workbooks like schooltastic be needed too?

You can get pretty much everything on Twink, but having the book helps give a sense of progress. It's nice to mix and match between the two.

Hi thank you for ur amazing videos.i have recently starteed homeschooling my 3 and 6 year old. Can u please help me out with the Scholastic Books? I am not sure exactly which ones to buy as theres quite a few in the 100 Practise Activities Series? Does one English book such as this ( shop.scholastic.co.uk/products/94612) cover All areas such as grammar..punctuation..speling..comprehension... Or will i need to buy seperate books that cover those aspects? Thank u !

Thank you! Glad you like them! Hmmm, the Scholastic books we used covered all of those topics for a particular school year - but it looks like they've changed the way they work now...
