It's a tip from me, you can also put the slices/diced onion in a bowl fill with cold water...just to turn down the spiciness

This is amazing in my country iran we have a kind of traditional salad named salad Shirazi (Shiraz is one of the most historically beautiful cities in iran )it's made in the same way as you made salsa but cucumber is used in addition and oregano is a nice seasoning for it 😋😊🤩🇮🇷

yup! Pico de Gallo, also known as Salsa Fresca or fresh salsa. And I even gave instructions for modifying and making other types of salsas too.

Looks good. But, it looks more like pico de gallo. :)

add a little red wine vinegar to if you want.

Seeds aren't spicy. The white pith of the pepper is what you really want to take out... not sure why a lot of cooking shows get this wrong.
