    So 1 bar will have following macros: Calories- 560 Protein- 25gm Carbs- 51gm Fat- 31gm Very good amount of protein but fats are on higher side too. Also this can be a meal replacement bar due to 500+ calories.

    If we can use 250/250 peanuts and roasted chickpeas, fat content will come down to 20.5gm along with 23.5g protein which is still good.

    Confirmed my thoughts. I'm very thin (maintaining weight and nutrition is a challenge for me) and I thought maybe I should try this. I need the carbs and protein. That being said living in Japan it's very difficult to buy food in decent quantities without breaking the bank. Everything is in small portions. No exceptions.

Especially eating a lot of protein in a meal won’t do any good!! your body can only move so much protein to your muscle before your body rids of the protein (make them into glucose) but maybe like 8-14g of protein a hour depending on the type it is and the quality of it and you only got roughly 4hrs before your body rids of the surplus of protein (Google PDCAA chart for protein quality) Then you need your carbs & fats to stop or slow down muscle breakdown so to get big Eat Right And Lift Right everything else you hear or read is bullshit I promise don’t get heart disease and cancer because these uneducated fucktards

    These supplement my diet well. I was aiming for 200+g protein and ~300g carbs daily (bulking) but noticed I was coming up short on carbs. I portioned the recipe according to my needs and substituted one of my snacks with this bar. It doesn't matter what the peanut gallery says. This recipe is clean.

For a guy like me whos currently on a cut with 2000kcal, that kind of food would get me in trouble.. Thats all im saying, of course its not 2000 kcal a serving! No fighting, just dieting! • @baldur7470

    @baldur7470

    5 жыл бұрын

    CopernicoTube Alrigh first you need to specify to me at what quantity are those amino’s negligible? Because I looked at 146 grams and the only ones that were ‘’low’’ were lysine and methionine. And please for God’s sake that soy myth has been debunked thousands of times, look at hbomberguy’s videos on soy. Also if you worry that much about estrogen you should stop drinking milk which contains mammalian estrogen and also stop eating meat and chicken especially since it’s stuffed with hormones. Also I don’t see a problem with the bioavailability of plant protein, you only need 0.8 grams of protein per pound of bodyweight so you could easily get that. Since there are also vegan strongmen like Patrick Baboumian and Kendrick Farris and non-professional ones like Clarence Kennedy, so I don’t think protein is such a problem. People are way too overhyped about protein these days.

    a Calories are good if youre a hard gainer with a poor appetite or do a lot of cardio. But the majority of the developed world doesnt have that problem. If youre on a cut, or prefer to eat actual meals, or are overweight looking to get fit, or are a shorter person or a woman, these bars are practically pointless. They are much more calorie dense than they are protein dense. I realize these bars would work for some people, but in my mind, when you call something a protein bar, it shouldnt be half the protein density of cottage cheese. In fact, it is of a similar protein density as beans or legumes. I guess at the end of the day, i would rather eat a full meal then a compact version of tasty beans. I realize not everyone is the same, but i dont think 'calories are good' is just a blanket statement for everyone.
