If Daisy was left alone on the streets much longer she surely would have died from infection. Luckily she was rescued and brought to Vet Ranch. We kept her for about a month at our facility getting her back to full health. Here is her story.

Moving hurts her so much and yet...her tail is wagging happily, and she is so sweet...
What an amazing animal. At the start of the video you can see she is in a lot of pain, yet she still craves a loving hand so much she walks despite her suffering. Thank you Dr. Matt for believing all animals deserve to be saved.

They are trying to grab some of the admiration, respect these breeds triggers. Its these guys responsible for harming the dogs, raise them to attack so they can feel macho men (how miserable and sad state ). So its very often these breeds in trouble and very similar are hunters and their breeds. Subhumans again just older ages.

Could you perhaps do a "Meet the Vet Ranch Team" video please Matt? I think it'd be a great idea to get the viewers acquainted with some of those that help on your surgeries and what not. If not that's cool too, it'd also be a nice promotion type video.

No race or specie is "bad" we are either nurtured to become "bad" and dogs like pibulls are stronger and biologically fierce so they can fight but that doesn't mean they do, people are also that way I'm naturally tall and strong and my knuckles are bigger than some but that doesn't mean I feel like I should fight. If you raise a lion it will have claws and be strong but it won't attack people or anything as long as is well fed of course.

It's sad that the Pit has received such terrible press. As I am typing this, I'm looking over to my sweet Abby (pit/beagle mix) who was a rescue. She was found walking the streets and searching for scraps of food. When we went to the rescue she was the one who choose us. As soon as I sat down, she came curling up in my lap and fell fast asleep. The most aggressive thing she has ever done was try to push me off the sofa while I was holding her and I swear she had a smile on her face the entire time. As a subscriber to Demo Ranch and now, Vet Ranch, as well as a massive animal lover, thank you for giving this sweet pit a new chance at life. God bless you and thank you for doing the job that I know I could never do!

How does the drain tube work? Does the tube have holes inside that pull fluid out towards either end or is it some sort of exsorbient material? Great videos and good to see life saving work done for animals that would just of been put to sleep.
@VetRanch
9 жыл бұрын
The drain tube is hollow, but it doesn't drain through the tube. It drains around it. The drain tube's purpose is to prevent the body from sealing up the drain holes in the skin. It keeps an open channel, allowing fluid to drain out of the holes.

+Riley Fenley sort of. a drinking straw is ridged it folds and does not come back to shape its made of plastic. the draining straw is probably a medical grade rubber which will flex, bend, fold and more then return to its original shape (which is flopy yet sturdy) which makes the wound able to mostly heal around it to the best of its ability. (correct me if im wrong)

If there is anything I can say about how you edit your video opening of the "as is condition" it would be that it shows the will power that animals have regardless of their suffering. Like this one, clearly suffering pain, yet wagging its tail and happy to see an affectionate human being, truly a testimony of why they are Mans best friend. I absolutely agree with you on the difference of your channels as well. Fun vs. Rewarding. Thank You,

“We just hit 50k” I’m late to the party😂
The bit of the video where Matt was thanking for 50k subs on Vet Ranch and 350k on Demo ranch low key made me proud of the KZread community
My dog Jake had to get drain tubes on each side of his front shoulders. Three days before we took him to the vet were he needed surgery we had a really bad storm that blew over our fence and it was really late. When the storm died down we let him out to go potty and he was missing for two days. When he came back we were so happy to see him and everyone was petting him and I looked him over for wounds and we took him to his vet the day after cause it was late. When we got there we were told he needed surgery because of how deep the bite marks were (he was bit on his shoulders) they stitched him up and put in tubes and he came home with us a day later. I was the only person out of 7 that gave him his meds and cleaned the exterior of the wounds and no one else seemed to care. The good thing is they didn't get infected and the vets told me that he was more healed than most dogs they had seen with that kind of injury. And he was a pitbull.
Dr.Matt we need more men like you in this cold, violent world.God bless you and all your staff!Amazing human beings...thank you for taking such a good care of Daisy....she is such a love...

It's so hard to believe that it's the same dog, she looked so sad and poorly at the start, but towards the end she looked so happy and bright. As always well done and thank you for taking care of these dogs and other animals.
Matt. I stumbled onto this channel recently. I have watched all the old videos and every new one you put out. I would love to see you expand this. You do real and awesome work.
Well the channel grew a little. 50k? how about 2.6 million at the moment. And you do so much for the animals, and we love to watch you do it. Prayers are with you, Dr. Lee and Matt right now - and all of Vet Ranch and your family. We want a miracle for Matt!
the drain tubes always make them look like a cute little frankenstein monster, especially when the stitches are still clearly visible
wounded but her tail waggs when she sees him, she knows he fixed her
You are the best I want to be like you and my mom she is also a veterinarian thank you so much for the inspiration
The resilience and will to live these animals have never fails to amaze me. This dog literally had a huge gash right down to the muscle but soldiered on like it was nothing.
Daisy came from being really sad to being really happy it is amazing that vet ranch does that
Love this guy he is FRICKEN epic he's a vet and a sharp shooter that takes skill

How poetic!
