Update: They were not adopted together sadly but the rescue stated they both went to loving homes and are doing very well. Remember, it's hard to get dogs adopted together and the fact that they are thriving in good homes is great.

i was looking to adopt them earlier and they werent on the list on the website sooOo they found a home!!! hopefully pluto and goofy r together! ❤️

Those precious pitties were terrified, peeing themselves, cornered with no escape, but yet they didn't bite or even attempt to. I would say let this be a lesson for the pit bull haters but I know there's no changing their minds so I'll just sit back and enjoy the awesome rescue.

You are so right. Never met a pit who wasn't just like these 2. Yes, I know there are some who aren't - just like every breed large & small there are some who are not safe to be around - be it a result of human treatment or conditioning or a quirk of genetics in an occasional dog (same as all dogs and humans too for that matter.) But as a whole, they are the most loving, goofy and people-oriented there is. There are some people who will never be convinced but just opening your eyes and watching will eventually show anyone who wants the truth exactly what Pits are truly like. I was once one of those people sure that these dogs were souls killers not fit for this world. I was wrong. I'm embarrassed for the part I played. What was it that changed my mind? Watching, over time. Then searching out the truth by searching out true source Studies that have been done - and throw out all the misinformation abundant and unproven-without documented proof. Next step was talking to Vets, Shelters and Rescues as well as those who foster. I even searched out Trainers. The truth is out there. Don't take my word for it. Do your own homework. Over time, what is in front of your open eyes will show you the truth. I now have the most amazing dog I couldn't ever even imagine to share my life with. She's my support dog and one day will be my Service Dog. We found each other at the Shelter when she was a 6 month old stray. She sat on my feet so I couldn't leave. Anyway, thanks Nagel for putting up with me standing on my Soapbox when this was your reply to begin with. 😊

Eva Rogers good for you for being open minded and doing your research. We work in rescue and have had many fosters. 1 of my 3 pits I referred to earlier is a foster. Most have come from bad situations but they have all been sweet loving dogs and they even let my little chihuahua boss them around haha.

Liv dogs are how they are raised to be, no matter their breed. Pitts just have a terrible rep because of owners raising them to be that way. It's the short sighted people that group them all together

Dogs are purpose bred until humans mess up their bloodlines. Pits were bred to fight bulls and bears and like some other breeds can be quite dangerous unless properly socialized when young, and kept from possible trigger events and under direct control. Be realistic and not the person who says "he never did THAT before!"

Eldar, Loretta and all HFP staffs, you will always be my heroes. Not superman, not any athlete or rock star. You risk your life day in day out running onto busy streets, crawling into dangerous places to try and save these angels who suffer miserable lives due to our own human abuse, neglect and abandonment. People think that all Pit Bulls are mean just because they see some of the “high profile” cases of people who fight them. Pit Bulls are only mean if you raise them to be that way. I adopted a Pit Bull mix from a shelter in March of 2018. He is soooo sweet. He is my best friend. These dogs don’t want to fight. All they want is LOVE.

Pitbulls just get bad if the owners are terrible. But thats with almost every living creature. If not raised with love and care the children get bad. Pitbulls are the most loving and warmheartet dogs ive ever seen. When im moving out and live on my own im defenitly going to adopt one.

christopher st.marin I used to be wary of pit bulls although you should be careful around all large animals, doesn’t mean all of them are dangerous it all depends on how they are raised. I just got a pit a couple months back from a shelter and he’s the sweetest boy with such a calm demeanor even more so than my boxer. Each dog is unique and can be taught!

Others on here have it right you have no soul and you the 453, I'm sure the number will increase, are the reason there are so many homeless and or abused dogs in this country. I'm 17 and I'm inspired by you guys there are many strayed cats in my locality so i save as much as possible.. now i have about 13 cats and they're so beautiful.. oh and 1 is pregnant rn... These are all because of you guys .. 💓💓💓💓💓

I love all dogs and animals except mosquitos and roaches.HoweverPitties and kitties are my heart! Thank God you guys found them!Bravo!

CUTE IF I WAS OLDER AND DID NOT HAVE A DOG I WOULD GET THOS BROS if u guys r still working on this stuff if I'm like 21 i would adopt like 3 dogs :D and give them all the love and care and food they need and spoil them with a lot of toys treats and other things dogs would love i would all so would want to work with u guys when I'm older if i could lol i love u guys and I'm happy u guys do this it makes my happy and to know that there r good ppl in the world :D

Omg..pitties have the most gorgeous eyes you cannot resist! How can ppl be so cruel blind and damn evil!! Thank u, thank u, thank u, thank u! We are so grateful for the beautiful service u give to these majestic animals!!

In situations like this the dogs should be adopted together to the same home.
