Pregnant homeless Pit Bull goes into labor FAST! Happy Mother's Day!!! ❤️❤️❤️

Үй жануарлары мен аңдар

Being a mother is tough, and I can't imagine doing it alone, on the streets, in a dirty place! Because you share our videos, someone knew to call #HopeForPaws for help!
Hello everybody, it's Eldad, the founder of Hope For Paws. Before telling you about Waffles and her babies, I wanted to share my concerns with you as those keep me awake at night (it's after midnight and I still have work to do). As the world is still struggling with the pandemic, times are tough here too. Veterinary care is extremely expensive, and with AT LEAST 10 complex surgeries every week, and with dozens of hospitalized animals that we help every week, we have been paying bills at a faster rate than we're raising funds.
In general, it's hard for me to ask for help... all my life I found myself having to figure things out by myself, but we're in a tough spot and I am nervous writing these lines because I know we have many more animals that will need our help in the coming weeks, months and years.
The good news is that our power is in numbers - we're a huge community here on #KZread, so I am not asking for large donations, but instead, I am asking for MANY of you to help us with small recurring donations. Recurring donations enable me to know every month how much funds we have available, and that determines how much we can do. We LOVE our work, we would LOVE to do even more, and we can only do it with your support: www.HopeForPaws.org
It's critical for me that you understand that our average donation is $12. Think about it... all the Hope For Paws videos you watched, all the surgeries performed, all the lives you have seen transformed, all the happy wags and meows - all of this is happening from your $12 donations!
I can't imagine my life not being able to do this work, and I really hope you can join us today with just a $5 donation (16 cents a day). I promise to work harder and post more videos so you'll see your donation in action 😎👍
The math is actually cool now that I am thinking about it.
$5 a month is 16 cents a day (a dime + a nickel + a penny).
$12 a month is 40 cents a day (a quarter + a dime + a nickel).
OK, back to this story 😊
I just need to warn you... this video is not for everybody and kids (maybe some adults) should watch it with their parents, so please go ahead and call your mom to sit and watch this one with you. I have seen this miracle happen so many times since I was a young kid, and even now, decades later, I am still amazed at this beauty created by nature.
JoAnn Wiltz and Katie McKittrick handled the whole situation beautifully, and I am so happy to share this video with you - the timing with Mother's Day couldn't be more perfect ❤️
We created a special Mother's Day card here that you can send to every mother you know and love - remember, your sister who adopted a kitten is also a mom, your aunt, your friend who has kids (humans or canines), your teacher, and even I feel like a mom to so many animals: www.HopeForPaws.org/Mothers_D...
When you share our videos, you are helping us so much so please help us spread the word, and PLEASE let me know if this is an OK video for you to watch and if you would like to see more like these.
To apply to adopt Waffles and her puppies, please contact our friends at: www.AngelCityPits.org
Thank you so much!

Great point Sally! You're absolutely right! We live in a country where 4,000,000-6,000,000 animals are euthanized at the shelters every year, and many of them die as a result of people wanting to give their kids that experience and not thinking about the consequences. I really hope everybody will share this video on their social media so education can be handled this way. Thank you for bringing up this important point ❤️

And what's more, after betraying that loving, vulnerable dog so horribly, I don't know how they can look at themselves in a mirror, or sleep at night. She could have starved, been hit by a car, or suffered an even worse fate. How does that not prey on their minds? They are pure evil! They could and should have taken her to an animal rescue. To turn her loose to fend for herself is unspeakable. Dogs are domestic, not wild animals - they simply cannot survive without human care. And you know what? Those unfeeling sub-humans probably have children. And so the cycle of cruelty and indifference goes on through the generations. Terrifying!

I just wish the sub-humans who abandon, neglect and abuse animals were prosecuted and imprisoned more often. It's hard to imagine a worse crime than causing suffering to intelligent, sentient beings like dogs - yet too often these heinous crimes go unpunished. I say NAME and SHAME the scumbags, put their face all over the media and internet, and make an example of them with proper jail terms! Animal cruelty is a far more serious offence than mere theft or any crime against property!

Yeah but unfortunately she is in the USA. One of the worst countries for euthanising pets. Up there with Romania and China. You could solve this problem so easily by making it mandatory to neuter and chip all pets and illegal to breed without a permit. Then hold off on the permits and the euthanisias for a year or two and the problem would be solved. how about investing some money into that rather than subsidizing meat and dairy.

@@abbyandsadiesmom2040 I apologize for answering a year late. It was because I am a dog-sitter on a website (which I wish to keep secret). The stray would wonder around my neighborhood for days and I would be nervous to take it out to pee because I was afraid the dog I was taking care of would get attacked or the dog would attack the stray. I love dogs and I hate seeing them get hurt. The stray eventually chose my backyard as a safe haven and would not leave. I could not take the dog I was taking care of during that time out to pee or poop for hours. At one point I even wanted to bring it into my house and give it a bath 🛁, but if I did that I might get attached, so decided against it. It got to the point where the stray would scratch at my window and the dog I was taking care of would not stop barking at it. That was when I knew I had to get my friend involved. So I lured it to my friends cop car 🚓 and her it away. But not before I said goodbye 👋. Believe me if I wanted to keep it I would, I even gave it a name, Pearl, but my family and I can barely save a few bucks ever month so that’s why I had no choice but to give her away. 😢

I'm sure you did the best you could under the circumstances but all those days you watched this wretched soul scratch at your window you could've been calling for help. Don't blame HFP to assuage the guilt. They are only one organization of hundreds in California. Sorry dude but you should've done better.

One of the absolute miracles of life is that animals which can’t communicate complex/abstract ideas have an instinctual understanding of birth. Virtually no dog in modern society has ever seen a birth- they’re separated from other dogs, often neutered, and mostly grow up in isolation in human homes. And yet these animals grasp that this thing coming out of their body needs immediately care and is theirs. It’s truly extraordinary.

She knew she and her babies were safe there. And she handled each newborn like a pro, such a wonderful mother! God bless her, I'm sure those gorgeous puppies found forever homes, I hope sweet Waffle did too, after struggling abandoned on the streets like that. She so deserves to be spoiled and adored, as the much-loved pet she was born to be. Whoever threw her out on the streets like that deserves a lethal injection! Ignore the "ick", LOL, and just focus on how Nature is amazing. She instinctively knows she must remove the sac for her babies to breathe. And she licks their faces to clear out their mouths /noses and to stimulate them til they take their first breaths. The nutrition in the sac gives her the energy she needs to give birth six times! Just like you would jump in front of a moving car to save your baby's life, she does the same the only way she can. She did an amazing job, what a great mommy!
