To anyone else who is complaining about Eldad's attitude: THINK before you type. Eldad is not pushy or aggressive. He's just firm with his directives. He needs to be in situations like this. It's very important to have a plan, but one can't really be formed until they get to the scene and see what they're working with (buildings, fences, roads, etc.). So his mind is working a mile a minute trying to figure out the best outcome for everyone. One wrong move could get a rescuer bit or injured, or send a scared dog running into traffic and get it killed. It's easy to judge from the safety of your computer. Sorry, but it really upsets me to hear people complaining about a guy who has devoted his life to helping innocent animals and putting himself on the line every day. Geez. smh.

So many people abandon their dogs. There are millions of homeless dogs in the US alone. People do it because they can't afford them anymore, they move, they have a baby and no longer have time for the dog, they won't housetrain them properly so their home is being destroyed (and they blame the dog), or they just don't want them anymore. Most people will take their dog to a shelter in that situation, but some people are heartless. There are also situations where the dog runs away, either because they're being abused/neglected or weren't kept securely (in either case it's the owner's fault, even if it was an accident, it's 100% preventable) and usually in those cases, the dog isn't microchipped so even if they're found by someone, they can't be returned.

I have two beautiful dogs I got from my local humane society, one was an owner surrender, he's a beautiful St Bernard mix the other was a stray, adopted and returned broken heart Sharp-pei mix. She is so wonderful. I just find it so strange that anyone could abandon their pet.

eozp01 actually dogs came from wolves and selective breeding. The reason we have dogs is because of human interference. We started using wolves in order to help us hunt, eventually we began breeding them to have traits and characteristics that we wanted them to have (for example, fast, small, wrinkly e.t.c). Another good example of selective breeding would be the Russian Fox Experiment, where they selectively bred for tameness.

Even if the GSD was not beautiful (I mean, all dogs are beautiful), but like, if if he was, I don't know, sick and thin, even now nobody has the right to abandon him.

That dog was lost, scared, hungry, thirsty, distrustful and ready to be rescued - but it needed to be forced into it. Thankfully the right people came to his rescue.

Mozart is such a beautiful, smart, calm looking dog, never even thought of biting anyone. He and all animals deserve only the best and most responsible of loving forever homes.

Bloody hell, that guard was tall!! Beautiful dog. I'm sure by now he is living his best life in his forever home.

Great job, as always. German shepherds can be pretty dangerous compared to most of the other dogs you rescue, but you handled it really well. I was afraid the dog was going to run into the road in the beginning. The security guards were extremely helpful. I wonder how tall that one guy was.
