That made so much sense guys, just how I think about brewing like cooking, making a recipe up letting people try it great ( not that I'm very good at cooking ) not saying I'm a great brewer but super enjoy it. The community is super supportive generally. I can talk brewing for eons love learning about it. Beer looks AMAZING nice work cheers 👍🍻

Thanks so much!! It’s funny Jenny and I share recipes constantly too were always trying to impress each other or troubleshoot what a recipe needs

Very true, an undrinkable beer does not exist! I have made bad batches, but managed to drink every drop! Does that mean I have a drinking problem? Definitely looking forward to the video of Jenny's first brew day. You two are a riot together!

You said you thought there was slight oxidation just from looking at it. Can I ask what it was that you were seeing that you thought that? Slight darkening of color? Like when cut apples brown?

It was brighter in color the first time I pulled a sample so the difference in color leads me to believe it oxidized a bit. Exactly like apples.

How did you determine the ABV? Were you able to measure how much sugar came from the mango?

The mango sugar is the unknown. I took the og after cooling I believe and fg when transferring to keg

@5:24 ....On that barrel aged sour note, I got an idea where Sarah & Jenny toss out some ideas for a Flora monthly brew challenge... Could be in a video or on twitter instagram ect ect... we vote on our favorite idea and you announce what the challenge is and we all come up with our own recipes and post pix tagging you when we are finished : )

do you ever do winter warmers? I tried one it came out kind of thin , I based it on highland brewing cold mountain, which everyone usually loves. was tryin to replicate. Do a winter warmer let me know how it turns out...

@@FloraBrewing Nice. Need tro try coastal haze. With the alterate formula (ABV =(76.08 * (og-fg) / (1.775-og)) * (fg / 0.794)), which is said to be more accurate for higher gravity beers, this beer is actually close to 10.8 %.

My husband doesn’t like it but realizing he doesn’t like thick beers haha opposite of me

apologies for this......but Coopers beer is not the greatest beer in Australia if you like IPA, brew a James Squire 150 Lashes
