FYI…Some back story. He’s doing the voices of Celine Dion & Andrea Bocelli. He won the Philippines, got talent. He finished in 4th place on AGT as there was a select group only allowed to vote, not you & me. He’s was in the middle of the program so it’s fishy when they say it’s too early for the golden buzzer that he deserved. Excellent video. Thanks for sharing. Marcelito was left alone with his younger sibling when his father was incarcerated and his mother went to Manila. He was later adopted by a police officer. He discovered his ability to sing in both male tenor and female soprano, while working with poultry. He can sing in English, Italian, Spanish, French, and Chinese, plus his native language. He only speaks his native language fluently. He was recovering from kidney stones, recently.

Marcelito Pomoy had a very hard childhood his parents divorse at his early age and he and his siblings was given to relatives so they can have a better life but he didnt so growing up he did a lot of odd jobs like construction he has no voice training at all and he cant afford it anyways just his meal to survive on one ocassion while he and his co-worker having a drinking session he was ask to sing and they are all surprised to hear his voice so he was encourage to join some competition as they know he has a chance and also told him that that may be his way to see his parents and siblings he love and missed so much so thats what he did but when he sees that there is a bigger stage and bigger purse "Pilipino Got Talent" he hope that this stage will make way of his wish to re-unite his family and he did as the contest progress he becomes popular and slowly some of his siblings comes out that inspired him to win. After winning the contest and got the big price he re-unite his family but greed came in that it seems impossible to make it happen as his mom and his eldest sister wants a bigger chunk of the price money and still dont want to reconsile with his father. Seeing this he becomes disappointed and in the end focus on building his own family which he did. He is a very down to earth person he does not like limelight thats why you will notice with his talent he seems to be unknown because he seldom go on TV as he loves to be still his normal self with family and new found friend in his neighborhood happy for simple things singing in karoeke near their place that who he is. HE was just convince by his wife to join "America's Got Talent" later to prefer for her daughters future. He was a favorite he aced every performance. But with a twist he was kick out of the finals in favor of a dance group and people are disappointed even the judges except Simon, he gave it a chance as his wife wishes and they are not lucky a lot of conspiracy theories but he accepted it and back to his normal life with ocassional invitation when he has time but for him family first as thats what he missed since chldhood. 😔 Do checkout his performance at AGT ( America's Got Talent ) and decide for yourself. I do not know if you already fixed this in later videos but I will say it anyway. Try to decrease the volume/gain of your mic when recording. Your recording software seems to be not coping with the signal received from the mic. What happens is when you speak louder, the amplitude gets taller. There's a certain decibel limit of whatever device/software you are using to record your voices and clips it if it goes over the limit. Just increase the volume after recording.

pomoy didn't come close to winning...his other performances weren't quite as good, but still the best -- simon acted a little bored on the future performances... but of all of the contestants I've seen on talent shows, none had as much talent as pomoy (with all due respect to chris klafford, adam lambert, and susan boyle respectively)

I see you have finally listened to a philipino singer. Marcelito is a very good singer and the Philippines has a lot of them but the best one, probably one of the world's best is called Morissette Amon. She did a show with David Foster and he said she is the future of music. Start off with her song Akin Ka Na Lang on the wish bus and go from there. She has an angelic voice and Disney wrote a song for her to sing called Imagine More.. You won't regret it.
