The very incredibelity of him is, he self tough, no voice lessons, never go any music school he was notice his dual voice at Age of 16 comforting by him self in way of singing while working in poltry farm in his foster dad and later he won as grand champion in a singing contest at PGT PHILIPPINES and he was in a fourth place in AGT GOD bless and thanks for great reaction. ❤🇵🇭🇵🇭🇵🇭🙏

Saw him live in Atlanta last year. He is the most talented, humble, generous person ever. All of his You Tube earnings go to his charity for children and the elderly. He was abandoned as a child by his mother and his dad was in prison. Lived in the streets of the Philippines from about 7 until his early twenties.

He actually lived in the precint where his dad was detained🙂 the police officers were so kind to have allowed him be with his father in prison. In short, he basically grew up in prison

I’ve listened to this song literally over 100 times. I watch reactions as you do just to see their faces as they hear Marcelito’s voice for the first time. I know every part of the song so that I can concentrate on how the reactor’s face changes from the changes in Marcelito’s voice.

He is singing in two languages that he does not speak (during the performance you watched). Many Filipinos learn English, but Marcelito grew up on the streets since about age 7 with very little formal education and no singing training. His father was in jail and his mother abandoned him. Since becoming more famous he has been learning English. His wife translates for him during interviews. Italian reactors have said that Marcelito's Italian is clearer than Andrea's.

I don't understand why Marcelito Pomoy has never released any new work to the public since he was in AGT. Mostly, he was at some concerts or just singing casually at home (not at good sound quality). I really hope to see and hear his songs at the Wish 107.5 bus radio station again. For example, he had been performing Narito Ako in female voice live on the radio bus station for about 6 years, but it was the song Prayer that cemented his place as one of the world's most recognizable and talented singers.

He has been singing The Prayer since it first won him Filipinos Got Talent in 2011. As for what he has been doing COVID quarantine followed right after his appearance on AGT and he does sing around the world on tour but generally to Filipinos because he does not speak english fluently. His wife translated for him at AGT for example and he had another translator for him when he appeared on the talk show Ellen.

Greetings Jenna. I first saw Marcelito on AGT a few years ago and while he has pretty astounding range, like @Darrell71, it's not my sort of thing. I think though, that the standard bearer of that style of extended extreme range is an Asian by the name of Dimash, whom @writerfrank58 mentioned with the song "SOS". What I particularly like about that really is the song SOS, which is from a 1976 French/Canadian Rock Opera called Starmania. The song composition has certain aural musical hooks that really resonate with my soul. It's hard to be specific what it is about what specifically it is, but I felt them the first time I heard it performed by the young Italian vocalist Giulia Falcone a few years ago (kzread.info/dash/bejne/mK2BzdF7YpyvfrQ.html ). Though I'm not particularly a fan of Dimash, the song was written for a male singer and Dimish is certainly the alien that I'm sure the composer had in mine when he wrote it. Oh my goodness, this is fate! My Dimash SOS video will come out Monday, and I mentioned that it was from a rock opera!!! Love that so much. I’ll keep it a surprise whether or not I liked the performance (make a guess 😂)… but he definitely has an insane voice & vocal range. I agree! Diana is an incredible singer. She keeps getting better and better as the months go by. Can't wait to hear her new EP when it come out. Jenna, if you read this I agree with the others about Morissette. 100% worth listening to and like Diana and Dimash over 100 songs each to choose from. Best part is, you can't go wrong listening to any of them. All different and all amazing. I would also recommend listening to Angelina Jordan. She has a jazz/blues style and will blow you away like the others. My top 4!

​ Dear if I can advise you, Listen to Morissette Amon, a shocking Filipino singer. When I first heard it I couldn't believe it was her real voice, live on a radio, and sitting. I state dear, that I have a classical training in singing and violin and I am Italian. I met her by chance from a youtube council, (sometimes youtube from real advice). To this day I consider it the greatest in the world in modern music. Her timbre of voice recalls, a pinch of whitney (especially for the modification of the U and the low / medium vocal timbre of the chest), a drop of Mariah and a spicy of donna summer and Celine Dion, mixed and amalgamated together. After 8 years of following her, I am still amazed by what she can do, with her voice. Check, discover it, taste it, you don't have to react to it, but I advise you to record your reaction. Many reactors have eaten their hands for not doing so. Greetings. 😊

His Italian is pretty accurate, but many Filipinos can speak Spanish, and Italian is not too far off. Also the Tagalog pronunciation is actually closer to Italian than to English. But still, a great performance without a doubt!
