I love Marcelito Pomoy, he was an orphan around 7 yrs old and lived in the streets in the Philippines, he was abandoned by his mother while his father was in jail. He worked in a chicken farm for food and shelter, he said he would sing when he felt scared at night and that is how he thought himself to sing, he has no formal voice training. I'm a Filipina married for 22 years. i guess the secret for us is that through the years. we learned t9. compromise, accept each other's differences and when we argue, we forget about it right away especially if it's just little things. when it's something important, we talk about it when both of us have cooled down. i also learned to say sorry first whwn I'm at fault. i don't used to because i was a prideful person but i learned to apologize so i guess it helped make my marriage last. i feel like we're still newlyweds because the magic is still there.

Marcelito is an amazing singer and very unusual. May I recommend another incredible version of this song by teenage sisters Lucy and Martha Thomas. They are from the U.K. and have angelic voices which I guarantee you'll both love. They've also just released a brand new video for Xmas of the song "Does Mary Know?" It's really breathtaking.
