@@gabrielripw0lf293 haha I'm not making excuses I'm stating the fact that since the pandemic a lot of triple AAA game companies have been releasing buggy unfinished games. It's really not hard to see that unless your ignorant. On that note I'm still super excited to see if the game lives up to it's hype but you gotta be skeptical and not pre order until the game is out, as to incentivize game companies to actually finish their game before releasing it.

They show the player’s character doing the Avada Kedavra spell in the cave when they say you can go on a dark path 😎That will be awesome to learn especially if you can learn the other unforgiveables or dark spells we don’t know about yet. Even better would be if you can influence companions you make so you can have dark wizards/witches in the game at Hogwarts follow you like early death eaters 😱 That will be 🔥🔥🔥

I think it’ll be a cut scene warning you about going to the dark side, I don’t think you’ll actually be able to cast it but I’d love to be wrong

@@maxcohen3164 Yeah I was afraid of the same thing, regardless if you are able to or not, the game will (supposedly) be absolutely amazing, though deep down I am PRAYING to be able to use 'unforgivable spells', also just the thought of casting Crucio on enemies is making me extra giddy :DD

Remember when Skyrim came out, everyone was so absorbed by the world and their own journey, this is gonna be a life-stealer!!

I imagine the initial dev meeting went like "You guys play Bully, you guys play Persona 5, and you guys play Yakuza 0, then we'll all meet back in a year and make a Wizarding World game"

Exatcly like bully. If i dont go to potions class the prefects will try to hunt me down. Luckily i have the invisibilty skill check so i can sneak past them

The attention to detail in this game is amazing. The wand and spell combat looks way better than I thought it was going to be, flying around on the broom looks too clean, and I could spend hours just exploring around hogwarts bro. I’m so hyped for this game

This game is confirmed for both PS4 & PS5. also not gonna lie thought the mandem would have a bigger reaction to the player casting Avada Kedavra but it's fine cause the reaction to literally everything else was energetic

They have a video about this length that is with the developers and go deeper into the game, would love to see you guys react to that. Great video!

yay, i've been waiting for your reactions!!! they're always the best 😂 i'm so excited, you can tell the devs have put their heart and soul into this game - it's amazing how after all this time, we're the adults and can actually contribute to the wizarding world.

It is such a wonderfully immersive game, based on what we've seen from the footage. I look forward to playing it, maybe get myself a pet Thestral or two. It wouldn't surprise me, if some of the Wizarding World cast may have offered a helping hand in making this game. Notably Evanna Lynch who as we know is an avid fan, her brain is like a vast encyclopaedia when it comes to the lore of the Wizarding World.

My character will be very morally grey, neither fully good or fully bad, very logical minded. Loyal to allies, cruel to enemies, and whatever means is most efficient, moral or not, is the one I use.

I like that the game does a lot to detach itself from what we've read in the books and seen in the movies (and a certain somebody's toxicity). The castle looks gorgeous, the new teachers seem intriguing (actually, since it's the late 1800s, I feel like we might meet Dumbledore as a student), the visuals and activities are definitely unique. Unlike stuff like "Hogwarts Mystery", the main character doesn't seem to be The Most Unique Chosen One who has all the powers and titles; yes, there is something new about them, but that's pretty much every game protagonist ever. That being said, I am slightly concerned about the plot shown; we seemingly have a group of goblins who want to cause chaos and gain importance... putting that together with the fact what the goblins were representing in the books... I feel like we're stepping on thin ice here. I'll be content if it's a red herring but will look out for that.

Unfortunately we will not meet Dumbledore, I do not remember the years EXACTLY, but I remember reading that your character when you start your 5th year, is attending Hogwarts 2 years BEFORE Dumbledore. Which means, we won't see little Dumbledore until year 7 (Graduating year of Hogwarts). So I wouldn't be too hopeful about that when it comes to Hogwarts Legacy, but if a HL2 is ever announced, then meeting Dumbledore could be entirely possible. EDIT: On second thought, DLC's are another way they *could* introduce us to year 7 in the story. They'd be more like expansions rather than DLC, considering how big they'd probably have to be, but it *is* possible that they could extend the story using DLC and expansions later down the line.

my pc is going to struggle in order to run this game but its worth it

I've said this before, but I'll say it again for others. what if the game had a meter for the wand your character has. The meter acts as a gauge for its allegiance to the wizard. The higher the meter, the stronger the connection allowing powerful spells to be used easily. the lower the meter, the more likely spells may backfire on you to show its allegiance is shifting. When the meter is zero, you will be disarmed and the wand no longer responds to you, meaning you're gonna have to go back to the wand shop or find a way to get a new one. That's a free idea just because I want to see it succeed loool
