All I have is a switch. But they don’t know how much joy this had brought me when I started playing. I didn’t care about the graphics. I just love it…

Definitely a game I wouldn't play in docked mode.. but for portable play, it looks pretty good.

This game needs 16 gb of RAM on PC and 8 gb for stable decent performance on consoles. I'd say that this version is pushing the hardware to the absolute limits. A miracle that even works on tegra X1, 4 GB of RAM, 1 Ghz CPU and less than 1 teraflop on portable mode. One of the most impressive conversions i ever see on Nintendo Switch along with The Witcher 3, Doom Eternal and Nier Automata 1

I grabbed this this morning and already put a considerabke amount of time into it. Sure, it's not as open as other versions, and the graphics are a little rough, but it's still insanely fun and enjoyable. I've been having a blast with it so far.

@@neo_bit’s the same as the ps4 version but it doesn’t look as nice. The ps5 version of the game doesn’t have loading screens when you enter buildings and leave the school grounds. The ps4/switch version does have loading screens. So when you enter the school from outside you will have to wait 30 seconds to a minute before the game loads.

Netherrealm Studio should have kept the MK11 models for the Switch port of MK 1 and improved upon them.. Warner Bros. Forced MK 1 to be rushed.. I granteed it..

Switch was delayed massively but that only shows the care and effort the developers put into this port. Great game!

Who ever decided to get this game and also loves the Wizarding World you are going to have an AMAZING time playing this game. I was blown away on how detail and how much truth this game has to offer to its original source material. Everything in this game are what the fans wanted and needed. Please make the sequel already!! LOVE THIS GAME SO MUCH! Not to mention, this is actually one of Switch's successful port this year. Too bad it doesn't get the same release date with PS5/XBox, otherwise this game would be a solid contender for Game of the Year for sure.

The dev used magic to port this game considering the switch limitation the game still looks good!

Like seriously it’s a masterpiece the ONLY complaint I have is it’s no longer a truly open world it’s sectioned off each cave is its own little map ect and I’m used to 45-50 seconds of loading for a game on a glorified tablet so that’s certainly par for the course at this point

I'm honestly impressed they actually ported it and did a fairly decent job. Obviously its a lot worse performing than the other platforms, but they did get it functional and at or barely below 30fps. its kind of impressive, actually. While Switch would be my last choice for games like this, I'm suprised at what is possible on it.

I remembered when during the 5th-6th gen trailers would showcase games only in the best-looking platforms, so it was misleading when buying a game in a less powerful/not prioritized console, so is wholesome to see companies taking the time to show the reality. Kudos for Avalanche not just for doing a trailer for the Switch but to taking the time to make an excelent port that, even with the considerations, is impresive how they fitted the game, it looks like a AAA PS3 game

People are way too harsh on the Switch for being underpowered, but we have to remember that anything is possible if you'd just optimize your games correctly. Respect to the development teams who made this port possible.

Apart from load time and visual details game runs great at 30fps would recommend and beware on physical copy you need to download extra 8 GB day one patch.

it is open world don't listen to the high rated comments, just a few seconds loading screens while enter buildings or rooms but you can still fly, explore, and have everything on the gigantic world, In fact I hope I explained it well cause nothing in the open world is changed, It's the same game!

played this on a 3080 64 gb ram pc on ultra graphics and it taxed it significantly. im amazed that legacy can run that smoothly on switch just from clips from this video. props to whoever did the port!

But still, if underpowered means I can take it anywhere with 0 hassle, I think that's awesome and that's facts too. Los bajones son porque el juego lleva a los límites absolutos al hardware a tal punto de q en momentos la consola ya no puede mantener más. Sacaron todo el potencial de un Tegra X1, cpu a 1 Ghz, GPU con menos de 1 teraflops, y solo 4 GB de RAM. Cosa q en PC pide al menos 4 veces más de RAM y requisitos muchísimo más potentes. El hecho de q ya corra es una jodida maravilla

Looking forward to the reviews for this port. Hoping it functions well as I have some friends who want to play this but only have a Switch. Don't expect the overall performance to be as good as the PS5 or PC versions but I am hoping it'll run decently without making the Switch catch fire.

after 6 hours of play, I can confidently say that the game is 100% playable. Occasionally it drops below 30FPS. You can buy!

Skyrim is the only other one I can think of off the top of my head that lets you use magic instead of solely guns, arrows, or whatever other weapons. But if ya really want full-out FPS games, Xbox tends to have the majority of them

The Switch is so underrated. Mind you, I have a PC and PS5 as well and I still prefer to play my switch. This port along with others play really well (Overwatch, Dead By Daylight, Alex Legends- and soon to be the Arkham Trilogy).

Yeah people love the switch it is known I love it too, what bothers me is actually something else.. why did HL not get any spot at these game nominations? Not that I’m a fan of nominations but this is an absolute robbery this game is really good and at least a spot I didn’t say it needs to win .. Feel me?

And btw I wouldn’t recommend Batman on switch cause it runs great on really low end trash pcs even and it is currently 3$ on steam , don’t let em rob you 60$ other than Knight the two other games are old af, better off with Hogwarts Legacy at this point

@@lenaidovsky4571 I understand, trust me, I have seen every Batman trilogy video on KZread imaginable. I am still buying them for the sheer power of having these games on the go. Nothing beats the feeling of getting cozy in bed while playing games on your switch. The handheld feeling is unbeatable. That and I am part of the group of people that are sending the message to these developers saying “I want these ports. Give us more ports”, so I will be supporting them.

I am really enjoying this game on switch …. Absolute masterpiece

I'm not even complaining on the port. It's very well done. Sure, it has some of the downsides but you can barely even notice it when you're having fun playing.

Well to be fair, an amazing game dropped every month this year. Feels like RE4 and Jedi Survivor fell off once Baldur Gate 3 came out.

For the salty people: the switch isnt there to compete against 2000 dollar pc setups or 600 dollar home consoles. The switch is there for portability. Its got trashy hardware but this port still looks miraculously well done. I dont understand why youre so pressed about it just go and play it on your PCs and PS5s. No need to show how hateful and salty you are.

how to set a target in hogwarts legacy with nintendo switch

I played it now for several hours, its easily comparable to the witcher port, with no side by side comparison, its emersive as any other game, but it definitely needs some patches and it drains your battery. Other than that, well done port.

I might get this on the holidays it looks really good and IM glad it’s not a bad port

Gotta give credit to Nintendo and the porting studio for getting this running on the Switch in a world where they could have easily just thrown it on the system as cloud only like Control, Hitman, and Resident Evil. That said I can't imagine this is going to be a 'good' experience but it's better than not having it at all I guess.
