My father has been really excited about this remaster. He loved watching me play Luigi's Mansion and Luigi's Mansion 3 on his 70-inch TV in his man cave. He wanted to see the second entry on the big screen, too, so this would brighten his day. I also have fond memories of playing this game on launch day. I can't wait to relive my fond memories with the remaster!

Make Luigi Mansion a movie. The Luigi clips in the new Mario movie were awesome.

This is easily one of the most underrated mario series games. It's so charming, it's fun, the puzzle solving is great, and I'm so glad this is getting a remaster

@@isaiahthechristiangamer8716 I honestly think this game better have an additional mansion at the end of the game after you beat the main storyline, or it needs to cost $40 like the original did. I dislike Horror games in general, but Luigi's Mansion 2 isn't upsetting, and it breaks away from the genre.

Man, this game looks incredible, I love Luigi's Mansion, another game that has an obligation to be good.

2015 WAS A TURNING POINT FOR MEEEE 😭😭😭 THIS IS AWESOME

Absolutely loved this game as a kid. Now I get to experience it all again.

Man this game is amazing. I just recently played through the game again after I saw this and it was one of the most fun playthroughs I’ve ever had in any game. So much charm and very fun level designs. So happy to see this going to the switch.

Loved this game on the 3DS. All the nostalgia is gonna come flooding back when I get this game for the switch.

This game brings back so many memories, and I’m so happy to see that it is finally coming back!

This may be a hot take, but this was my favorite Luigi’s mansion game, so excited to see it return

I think this has it's own charm, it's definitely not the original, but it's got it's own identity, I think that's what's so great about each installment, they all have their own unique strengths and weaknesses (tho personally I say the original has the least amount of weaknesses, but still has them) I'm genuinely happy with getting a remake of Dark Moon

The only problem with LM1 is the length of the game. But that may be a positive thing for some (and the Boolossus fight is jank af).

Funny how theu changed it from Dark Moon to 2 now but regardless this game was amazing! Nice to see it comeback as I loved playing it a lot back when it came out as a kid. Good time!

Luigi's Mansion 2 has always been its title in Japan and Europe, even back on the 3DS. The "Dark Moon" subtitle is something they did only for the North American release. They probably reverted it to "Luigi's Mansion 2" worldwide this time around for the sake of consistency.

Remembered this pretty well on the 3DS gave me a childhood.

Best Luigi’s Mansion game, my childhood. i LOVE the mission system it works perfectly for this game. I hate how overhated it is for being different from the rest of the series. It by far has the best ghost catching system too imo, it’s VERY frantic and fun. Also the scarescraper SOLOS LM3’s.

Now we really need a Luigi's Mansion 1 remaster so all of them are on the same console.

Its great that we're getting a remastered version. This started my love for the mario franchise. This brings so many memories and I'm really looking forward to it!

The original Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon was one of my all-time favorite 3DS games ever, so to say that I'm beyond stoked for this remaster would be an understatement. I can't wait to blast through the game again on the Switch!

WOW Luigi’s Mansion Dark Moon is my favorite game on my Nintendo 2DS. It was also the first game I bought and beat on my 2DS. Now it’s on The Nintendo Switch for even more fun. I’m guessing at some point Luigi’s Mansion from the Nintendo GameCube will also make it’s way to The Nintendo Switch.

No “Dark Moon” subtitle this time? Boy this is going to be confusing for western players. For those who are somehow unaware the European version of this game was just called Luigi’s Mansion 2 while the version we got in the west was Luigi’s Mansion: Dark Moon. This caused many players in the west to be confused when the 3rd game Luigi’s Mansion 3 came out since many assumed that Dark Moon was a spin-off rather than a main entry in the series. Now I guess that Nintendo is seeking to rectify this by removing the subtitle all together. Although, I feel doing this may just confuse western players even more. Now they may not realize that this game is a HD version of Dark Moon. If I were the one calling the shots at Nintendo I would have named the game “Luigi’s Mansion 2: Dark Moon HD” just to clear up the confusion once and for all.

My childhood game, am so grateful that it’s coming out on Switch years after I sold my 3DS. Thought that I would never play this classic again but Nintendo pull off a winner yet again 👏

I remember playing this game for HOURS when I was five to six. The nostalgia hits too hard man. I know a lot of people don’t like this game but I do

I remember when I first played this game, wasn't too fond of it and preferred the first game overall. But as I got more and more into it, I started to love the seriousness and the gameplay mechanics of it, and the story was really starting to bring me in also. And I also have good memories of spending time with my little brother on it together, back then when we would actually play games together and we would be gamers together. A great childhood experience, and hope more could have a happy experience playing it as well.

The levels of nostalgia that just ran through me are insane. This is still in my top 3 Nintendo games. THIS GAME WAS MY CHILDHOOD. So glad to see a remake

@@Yusei255 Be sure to buy the Switch version. There is so much to experience and discover. The music is great, the villas are varied and the combat system is great. The game looks great and is quite long. There are some puzzles and boss ghosts, all reasonably difficult. The replay value is also quite high since they are their own levels. Trust me, you won't regret it. This game is love

I had this since I was a kid and still never finished it lol, I was too stubborn to look up a guide so I just stayed stuck on the puzzles. I still have it so I'm probably gonna try to beat it.

I remember I had a hard time fighting the ice & the giant knight bosses. Not to mention all the ghosts going crazy around King Boo’s mansion

Can’t wait for it to come out. I played it on my old 3DS but lost my 3DS. Now that I have the Nintendo Switch I’m even more excited to play this game 😊

Bro I screamed of joy when I saw this even in the live I typed in all caps dark moon! It only took 10 years (technically 11 because it comes out next year but you get the idea) and I am so glad we are getting a remake in the year of its 10 year anniversary

My favorite game on 3ds. It’s interesting that they’re calling it 2 instead of dark moon but I actually really like this change. It feels weird that the trilogy was 1, dark moon, and 3. Having the series just be 1, 2, and 3 definitely pleases my ocd brain.

I doubt when Legend of Zelda Link to the past gets a remake will changed to Triforce of The Gods because of religion purpose. Same goes to Link between worlds which is Triforce of the Gods 2. If Nintendo decided to remake those two

Well it’s probably for the best since many people have played LM3 but haven’t even heard of the second, so it definitely gets rid of some confusion. Also Luigi’s Mansion 2 was the name of the game literally everywhere else besides America, so this title change isn’t a very big surprise

It's amazing how many returning titles the switch has, like i already bought this and many other games back in the day I honestly wish they would focus on new games. I owned a 3ds and a wiiu so I have already played a lot of "switch" games years ago.
