Tim CHEATham "Appropriate name... Too much cheating" Teddy on fire 😂 I feel a little bit more strongly... It feel like it's the robbery of the year thus far. I had it 8-4 Lemos (1,2,3,6,8,9,11,12) If you want to be EXTREMELY generous to Hitchins then MAYBE you could give him a maximum of 6 rounds... BUT even at 6-6 he still should've LOST! He was WELL worthy of a PTS deduction for excessive holding... At 5AM here in the UK I woke up my family cussing at the referee in RDS 8 & 9... Must've allowed like 20 clinches from those 2 rounds alone. Tim Cheatem & the referee get an F. DeLuca & Weisfeld get a C- standard 115-113 robbery Ws. If anyone deserved to win 117-111 it was Lemos (round 10 could've swung his way also) & we all know "B side" Lemos would've been deducted PTS had he initiated half of the holding Clinchins got away with!

Lemos was hugged to a decision loss

McCalman was just clinching after every punch he threw. Anytime Pacheco got close, he clinched. Wasn’t deducted any points for excessive clinching since American judges just let excessive clinching go now. Same with Hitchins. The judging is one thing but American referees not deducting points for leading with the head or excessive clinching is RUINING the sport stateside. This isn’t MMA. Excessive clinching should be penalized.

*Claressa was being biased but she also did give her honest assessment in saying Hitchins lost.*

*Hitchins landed more punches overall & landed more in 6 rounds while 2 of the rds were even, the rest Lemos outlanded him. Throwing 100 more punches but landing less is a clear indicator you were not more efficient. Being efficient & effective go hand & hand. The 1st min of the 12th Lemos did nothing but stalk. LITERALLY! 15 sec before the bell of the 12th Lemos was taunting while Hitchins was landing jabs. I feel like the reason ppl are saying "robbery" are for these reasons: the 117-111 card, Hitchins got hurt in the 8th, the commentary was against him at times & not giving credit. Lemos performed better than the consensus expected he would prior to. Lastly the optics of Hitchins holding were bad at times.*

Computer box stats are bullshit. Why quote them? Lemos made this fight..landed meaningful punches. Hitchens held all night long...christ. Ref allowed this? Terrible result

⁠​⁠Fights are scored round by round and not by overall Comp-u-Box scores. The three criteria are Ring generalship, effective aggressiveness, clean punches. Lemos definitely won the fight.

@FRESHBX - I agree with you about this. Hitchins has a jab that is a gift from the Gods. His jabbing the face off Lemos won a majority of rounds for me. I don't believe for one second this was a robbery. Hitchins deserved to win in my opinion. Also agree about the commentary. I thought the commentary team, on both the Pacheco and Hitchins fight, were really poor.

Just to clarify, Clarke did not get a point taken off for holding. He got a point taken off for repeated low blows.

Wardley vs Clarke, Teddy you made a mistake. Clarke had a point deducted for a low blow not for holding. This was after the ref made it clearly known that he had warned Clarke 3 times already. In fact, considering they're big Heavyweights, there was very little holding throughout the whole fight....that's one of the things that made it such a brilliant toe to toe Heavyweight clash

Claressa Shields was disrespectful to the Hispanic audience ( I am Argentinian ) when she always cheered Hitchings during the fight. I know it was not her intention, but it was a behavior that needs to change to be a professional commentator. Thank you, Teddy, for noticing that behavior.

@@wizardofus21 he went up a weight and fought Dustin a few years ago and only just lost and that was on 6 weeks notice , he’s had time to bulk up properly and walks around the size of a lightweight . Don’t get me wrong gaethje could 100% win , but I ain’t ruling out anything with max involved . He’s never been outclassed, has fought good strikers and made them look stupid, so who knows tbh

And I don’t think holloway is anywhere near ferguson is that aspect , ferguson was known to take damage even in his prime. Holloway’s got a good chin but he’s never taken ridiculous amount of damage ever . And I also don’t think holloway will stick around if he goes on a losing streak, he’s done enough in the sport and think he’d be smart enough to hang them up. I’d hope so anyways

Clarissa is a great fighter, but has lacks the professionalism required to be an announcer. The fact she did not understand how to act after a lifetime of watching boxing and hearing announcers indicates she should never hold this position again. Keep the gloves on and the mic far away. I was embarrassed for her and for DAZN...far worse behavior than Benavidez slurring a bit while watching as a fan. Then again, her behavior is often embarrassing. I signed the petition, boxing fan for 40 years and it is getting hard to watch. The only thing that is close to real is the action inside the ropes (I say close bc refs seem in the bag for A-sides) and decisions are not even worth watching. I love the sport, but I am at the point where I ignore even hearing the decision...it is more like "Ladies and Gentlemen...the votes are in if we will cheat someone in this fight..." I have hated watching A-side stuff since SRL and DLH...but at least they were major stars. Now every fight seems to have an "A-side" even if they are just a prospect. The sport of boxing seems mostly gone too, the participants are mostly chasing money, not being the best; that is not a sport. Boxing is the last sport I still watch...I am not sure how much longer I can pretend I enjoy it.

Im sorry lemos didn't win found 12 he did win the fight tho.
