Foden isn't as smart and ruthless as palmer

Ale just expressed my sentiments about a lot of the stars who don’t reach their potential. The special ones do everything with purpose. You dribble because that’s what’s needed to get past a challenge, you do a flick because it’s necessary, etc. Other players do these things either to embarrass the opponent, to be flashy, etc. such intents don’t produce good results frequently.

So, in the euros: starting palmer over bellingham? No chance. Starting palmer ahead of saka? 100%. Starting palmer ahead of foden? Very much debatable.

Sorry mate, Saka is still above Foden for England. If Foden continues in this trajectory to next season, and Saka wanes then fair enough. ATM Saka ahead bcos he’s got more to his game as per end products

They can all be squeezed into the same team if Southgate is willing to try. Double pivot of Bellingham and Rice, Saka on the right, Foden on the left and Palmer in the 10. Against weaker opposition I think this would work, maybe it’s offensive for the stronger sides

@@bo0gi3 Bellingham has fallen off. Foden has too much world class support around him, and is NOWEHERE near as good for england as man city. He plays well in the system he is used to and the players around him. That is all. Palmer has 4 more g/a than Haaland, 9 more g/a than bellingham and 8 more g/a than foden. All while being in currently a much worse team than all three, in his FIRST full season AND at a new club. People hype players up without really looking into the details. Foden is good, but I wouldn't say better, same with Bellingham.

Yeah absolutely brilliant on top of his game and for me he is the best player in the league

The haters are in stage 3 of grief: Bargaining if they would play him ahead of Saka and Foden, lol

Pep is always talking about playing the game in different rhythms. ive come to notice Cole does that. One second he'll get the ball and its almost annoying how he slows it down. he'll hog the ball for a minute, pass back then ran after his pass asking for it back only to pass back or sideways again. then Boom he just turns someone, or nutmegs them and he's in space to make a killer pass or a shot

This makes Chelsea more competitive, and that is good for the league. I’m tired of always MC or Liverpool always top of table

The penalty taking should be decided and clear before the game, and players should be warned they'll be substituted immediately for that childish behaviour.

What people are not discussing is Saka and Foden are in great teams with experienced players around then. Cole is carrying Chelsea. He should go to the Euros and come off the bench and build up his time from there!

Que the "World Class" status already for Palmer who scored 7 goals in two games. Talented player but the media is predictable when it comes to a british player who is in form atm.

Cole palmer is miles better than Saka, Foden is the closest comparison to him. Imo they’re both on the same level. Palmer has something though that might give him an edge, he’s so calm under pressure it is absolutely terrifying. There are players who can never ever overcome the pressure of big moments. He has demonstrated over and over he’s not one of those. We are witnessing a future world class player right here. Mark my words.

He has 16 goals and 13 assists this season in all competitions if you take away his penalties 💀. He has 11 goals and 9 assists in the Premier League if you take away his penalties. With or without pens, still one of the best players in the Prem
