High Street - Racecourse Hill & Beyond Full Loop

High Street - Racecourse Hill & Beyond. A superb Lake District hike.
So finally back in the Lake District National Park after a long road to recovery, which I'm still on. Today we are doing an awesome hiking loop of High Street and up onto Racecourse Hill. This has some fantastic historical facts so hope you enjoy learning as you watch and join me along for some superb views!.... Most of the time hahaha.
I really hope you enjoy the video and I put some tremendous effort into recording this for you all with all my major back issues and other ongoing setbacks, so if you did like it at any point I would really appreciate your support of hitting the like button, PLEASE 👍 as this will help to spread my video round for more people to hopefully enjoy!
THANK YOU!!
Take care everyone...
Chris 🙏😊❤
Why have I started with a day hike and not a wild camp back in the mountains, and why have I unfortunately had to have a break from KZread?

Ah its so good to see you back out Chris!🤩🤩🤗🤗🥳🥳. Don't think we stopped smiling throughout watching this video, and neither did you! Your positivity and love for the outdoors is infectious!😊👏👏. An ambitious loop for your first time out, amazing views on your way up and down, and there is something special about being in the cloud, gets the blood pumping when you have to work to navigate. Great info on the racecourse , must have been crazy up there back in the day!😳🐎. Nice drone shots and we really liked your audio put to the drone fly off, not seen that done before and we may well steal it! Haha😆😆. Hope you get your drone sorted soon, we would rather have you back at 100 percent than the equipment! Absolutely loved this video, can't wait until you get back out there to camp again 😊 🏕 . Take care and have an awesome weekend, Shell and Pete

Thanks Gus!! Yeah was amazing to be back out and even though I felt 100% confident in the route id picked and it was 'an easy one' compared to what id normally do I still felt like id done a little bit too much the day after, maybe I should have started off with something in the Peak District. Although, my chiropractor said as I didn't stay there the 4 hour drive there and back probably didnt help me either lol. Its typical with the weather, but to be honest I knew it was going to do that this time and I love being in the clouds they're so atmospheric, so cant complain really 😁👍🏻 Cheers for watching mate as always 🙏🏼 ATB.... So straight to the point with info and key points of the trek plus i Finally found a walk along video I can watch without getting motion sickness 😷 Will you or have you done a video regarding the gear your wear to hike in? Hi new friend! ☺️ 👋🏻 First of all a massive THANK YOU for clicking on my video and taking the time to watch it, I honestly appreciate it more than you know, seriously 🙏🏼 Also another big thank you for the sub!! 🤜🏻💚🤛🏻 I have not done a video like that as of yet, but I can try and think of one to put together if you think that would be a good sort of video for people new to hiking to watch? 🤔 Decathlon do some great stuff!! You dont always need to buy the big expensive branded names for most things. I have a down jacket from Decathlon that was about £40 and also have a Rab one that was about £160. Can I tell the difference in price? Not really, unless you're being very very picky, but unless you start to get technical about the type of 'down' used with Rab being better quality etc then the performance isnt pretty far off to be honest. If I could advise on the ONE item to spend 'the most on' it would be your hiking boots. These are the things that you are going to use the most by far! Your feet are what you're going to need and look after the best especially on thise bigger hikes, so definitely get the best hiking footwear you can afford. Proper walking socks from Decathlon or Go Outdoors will be a big help too. If you have Instagram and have any questions or anything please find me on there as I can always try to send you links etc. Otherwise I shall definitely think of a sort of video I can do...... Thanks for your idea! Please stay safe out there, keep enjoying the great outdoors and I hope you enjoy anymore of my content you watch 😃👍🏻👍🏻 Take care.... Chris

High street was my chest Lake District fell and the fell I’ve probably done the most !!!
