A good tip for exploring the caves, get night vision potions! You already have an easy source of golden carrots, and it makes it very easy to see everything!

That cave has so much potential, i instantly thought of a little house hanging off of the ceiling by chains to have like an outpost very close to the entrance, a dwarf style villags down by the deepslate where all the villagers can be, big beautiful farms in the lush cave with roaming animals

Azalia trees have lush caves under them, there is a azalia next to your starter base, unless it's been placed, there's a cave under there

I think one of the things that is missing from Hermitcraft and most SMPs in general is the world exploring aspect of the game. That's why I really enjoy when Iskall goes looking for his trident.

You should theme each section of the mega cave differently, like an icy, stone entrance and a lush middle area and a harsh, industrial lava bottom area. This base is going to be omega!!!

When Iskall entered the cave wowcounter just broke, I think it is the biggest and most beautiful that was found in Hermitcraft so far

That cave is SO GOOD!! Can’t wait to see what you do with it (except I can because I know the more time and effort you put into it the better it will be. I think we can all wait when the outcome is sure to be Omega with you as the builder!).

Hear me out - take out the floor between the first super tall chamber and the deep slate section for 1 MASSIVELY tall chamber. Basically a hollowed out mountain

Didnt he say he needs a lot of glass for his base? It probably is not a good idea to sell out the glass Also buying bookshelves from librarians mining them to books and selling those books to the same librarians for emerald worked great for me so if he really needs emerald he could do that i guess

@@noobatredstone3001 it is patched in a way that villagers increase prices if you traded a lot with them for a few days in a row, but it doesn’t end up ruining the villagers for a long while which is great!

you should make a bubble elevator with each section of the cave make a hole i it so you have acses to a way up from all levels and to see the whole cave in one bubble elevator

Iskall You should invite a few or a bunch of your friends to mega build in the vast reaches of the cave. That would be so epic. A combination of mew cave generation and the creativity of the most awesome Minecrafters I know

HermitCraft is awesome and we all can agree that it's one of the best Minecraft servers but I also enjoy vault hunters so I hope that it isn't stopped

Please don't forget about vault hunters! I'm loving Hermitcraft S9 but i was also really enjoying Vault hunters and I don't want to see it disappear! Loving all your videos at the moment Iskall, great to have you back :)

That building spot for the mega base is great because it goes through all the stages of a cave. Grass, lush, stone and deepslate

hearing iskall saying "wow" just made my day

The best feeling in Minecraft and the most inspirational thing is finding the perfect place to build. That in itself keeps one motivated. Glad you found your perfect cave.

Oh I think this is the cave Xisuma was mining in in his latest episode Edit: the entrance looks different, I'm not sure, but the interior looked pretty similar

One of the things that I love with Iskall is that he sometimes says "Nei" which is 'no' in Swedish. I always find it cute when I hear it! XD

You could pipe a lava flow to do lighting around your cave base. Glass encased lava flows are one of my favorite ways to light up cave bases.

really looking forward to seeing what your cave base looks like! me and my friends had planned on doing a Big Cave Build, but the caves are SO massive and pretty we ended up too intimidated to do it xD

I absolutely love the part where you throw the torch down the hole in the cave😂19:55 and 21:25 It reminds me of the movies when they throw a glowstick or torch down a super deep hole, thanks for the laughs and entertainment, Iskall, much appreciated, keep it up!

So we have an Elf in scar and now we have one of Durins folk in iskall. And here i thought the new Lord of the rings series wasnt due till September

If I can give a suggestion, build your omega base near the ceiling or hanging from the ceiling as the cave is beautiful looking and would give you a great view of it and would make great for launching off when you get an elytra.

The cave entrance looks like the one from the first level of the first Tomb Raider. Would love to see some arrows flying, wolves attacking and parcour happening!

I’m pretty sure this is the exact same cave that xisumavoid was appreciating at the start of his ep.1039 (specifically at his 4:35 mark). Neat!

I like how iskall went all the way to the open sea to find a trident, when there are drowns in the little lake area at the spawn.

I am very impressed with the fact that you found not one, but TWO otherside discs

I love hermitcraft as much as the next person. But I am very hyped for the next Vault Hunters episode!

fun thing i've learned about drownds is that they spawn more in rivers than oceans. in 1 hour i got 10 tridents on my friend's smp just swimming up and down a river whereas it took me an hour to find a single drowned with a trident in the ocean

Iskall, you need cartographers, the buy glass panes so through your librarians selling glass, you can gain an infinite emerald cycle. That is if you convert them to zombies and back.

That mega cave might potentially have enough space to accommodate most of the hermits mega builds. And just imagine having a kind of lost city/civilization in that cave. Really amazing.

I love how iskall goes into the mini builds without planning and they still look fantastic!

When he was exploring the cave it gave subnautica vibes when you finally go down and explore into the BloodKelp zone and you keep going

That campsite is actually one of my favorite builds from the season so far

I can already tell you, that he's gonna ruin any potential that the cave has with his terrible and sometimes just nasty builds. Sadly not every base on the hermitcraft server can be build by good builders, such as: bdubs, scar, keralis, grian, pearl and geminitay.

​@@dawnstealer1141 I watch him because he kinda falls in the category of "so bad it's good" for me. Still hurts when he gets distracted and wastes a ton of time doing trivial things or says/does something really stupid. He is one of Hermitcraft's most inefficient KZreadrs. In comparison, Docm77 isn't really about efficiency as he still wasted a lot of time on giving random hermits poppies, but he still managed to get settled in a village, build a villager trading station, build an iron farm, break Minecraft, get full enchanted diamond armour and start constructing a gold farm by episode 1. If I remember correctly all Iskall managed to achieve in episode one, is build a dirt shack and get unenchanted iron gear. I know Hermitcraft it's all about efficiency, but come on, that doesn't mean that one should make so little progress. Regarding my building skills I dare you to add me on discord, or come to my house in Hypixel, so I can show you my building skills, but if you don't want to do that, in summary, my building style is something between the style of Bdubs and Keralis. I also make organics occasionally.

@@k.g.b.1150 iskall isn’t the best builder on the server for sure, but he has his own things he’s great at. His personality is my favorite out of all the hermits. He might not seem that efficient here, but that’s because he’s having fun and enjoying himself, check out his other series’, he can be efficient when he wants to, not for your validation. Also, he tends to be on the side of posting more content vs some other hermits that might spend weeks on an episode, if all you can do is criticize it, go watch someone else’s content, there’s so many hermits for a reason.

Used to watching Etho zoom through the early game in one episode but I’m really enjoying the pace of these early episodes

I'm hoping he brings the riptide base aspect back. It would be an awesome shortcut to cross the large gaps, and the season 8 base never really got finished.

The cave is just enooooormous ! I'm very excited to see what are you gonna build in it !

What would be really cool is if you built a bunch of different communities for villagers. Have like a fairy themed area in the lush cave area, and it gets more “dark” in the theme as you go further.

I’m absolutely loving the little builds around your base this season. It’s awesome that they are built into the terrain

I love your videos (you are my favorite hermit) but please don't forget about your vault hunters series.

What I'd do first is make the entrance hype and then build like, an outer guardrail across all the far ends of the cave, leading all the way down. I'd totally go with like, a dystopian city vibe, villagers and all. Blackstone, deepslate, the whole shebang.

I have to say, I miss vault hunters :( But iskall’s personality is just so fun, no matter what he plays

He mentioned during stream weekend that he will be working on the next vh episode, he just wanted to devote a week to the starting hermitcraft season before the next episode
