hi i love your videos however, can you make on showing the aperture arm and the springs s i am not sure how to assemble this...
Good video mr! i maked comment about this before. I repaired my 44m -4 using a spring, the default spring that responsible for the opening is so old, for this don't work good. For repair i put a normal spring for make reverse of the ring and fastened with the screw of the case. Now work great. Haha

hi do you know anything about the aperture arm inside the lens and its assembly with the two springs as the lens i have just purchased has been tampered with...

@@cdavey061 i really don't be a expert in that, i just opened my lens, see a problem and i worked in a fixe. on my case i just used a spring for have a better movement in the aperture ring. Good a part of vintage lens are customise for fix problems with the springs. What is the modification?
Great video as always. Do you recommend greasing the screws before you put them in to prevent seizings?

One of the two pins in the rear of the lens is, as you said, the ordinary M42 aperture pushing pin. But I have long wondered which camera the other rear pin is made for... do you know?
