Apart from shooting "flowers", making use of this lens for other "artistic" purposes really twists the head. Thank you.

Can I do this in Helios 44-7?

Thanks for your comment. This Old Zebra version, it has a long front thread. You need to unscrew the ring that secures the first lens then invert it from concave to convex. Your 44-7 has to have enough thread to secure the front lens, otherwise, the first element will fall off. Do this carefully and have fun.

I bought a 44-2 but i want to buy a 44 to invert it. What do you think about? I think the inverted Helios 44 is magic!! unique lens for unique ideas.

Thanks for the comment. Before you purchase another Helios to make it permanentely inverted, you should buy an old version, like mine, the Zebra edition. And why? New versions the front thread isn't long enought after the first element is inverted. After, your creativity is your limit. Have fun.

@@kaneda8625 Thanks for your appreciation. The 44M is a very low-cost lens, with no product quality and it wobbles everywhere. In my opinion, better have a Meyer Domiplan 50mm f/2.8 (my chapter 20). I think you will like this one.

You can invert 44-2 the same way. ​@@kaneda8625

Just get a cheap filter and put a coat of vaseline on it.
